  1. That is not going to happen
  2. Plus a young Ethan Read. Jed Walter. Ben King. He would be miles back at GC
  3. I hope they trial him as a forward/ruck this year as well... could really boost his draft stocks if he can dominate in that role.
  4. I'm personally fairly confident. Zeke Uwland is meant to be a top 10 pick, so it will be very difficult for them to match multiple bids. Whoever Kalani's manager is will know this.
  5. If he doesn't make it as a midfielder, do you think he could make it as a lock down small defender?
  6. I may be wrong, but I thought that because we overlooked Andrew last year we canโ€™t add him as a Cat B rookie this year. In any case, I think we can upgrade AMW to the Cat A list if required.
  7. It's the first session after 2 and a half months off.... wouldn't be worried about skills too much at this point
  8. @picket fence just saw Jeffo in an insta video... definitely has put on size.
  9. If we arenโ€™t playing Geelong down there Iโ€™ll eat my hat
  10. Iโ€™m hoping for lots of Saturday 2pm games ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿผ
  11. Please stop hiding outside his house PF!
  12. 5 - Jagga Smith 9 - Tobie Travaglia 83 - Floyd Burmeister or Thomas Sims
  13. Well yes according to Green, but apparently he negotiated to keep him on as a consultant so there's that?
  14. So you don't think he was a big part of everything? Obviously he isn't doing it all on his own, but he's definitely been a driving force in getting these matters sorted.
  15. I think if either of those get offered to us we will seriously consider it.
  16. North took Greenwood off the Suns this way. Would be rare to happen though. Think thatโ€™s the only time
  17. Was being conservativeโ€ฆ but could easily kick 35-40 goals
  18. I view him as depth for Fritsch. I donโ€™t think you can play both of them in the one forward line, but happy to be proven wrong.
  19. I think the bones are there to have a functioning forward line. JVR - for the love of god stop using him in the ruckโ€ฆ this decision has frustrated me no end. He will get 50+ goals next year if left at full forward. Turner - showed great signs, think they should persist with him at CHF. Think he could kick 20-25 goals in 2025 if fit. Fritsch - needs to get back to his very best next year and kick 40 goals Pickett - should be kicking 35-40 goals in 2025 Tholstrup - think he will run as a 60% fwd and 40% mid in 2025. Think 20 goals is not impossible for him. Chandler - hopefully keeps improving and can up his goal tally to 25-30 for 2025 Petracca - think he will play maybe 50% time up forward. Was on track for a 25 goal season before getting injured so think thatโ€™s the aim again. So tallying those up it gives us 225 goals between 7 players. Last year we kicked 259 for the whole team! So if we get additional goals from the mids we should be able to go way past that. My key concerns are: 1. Back up ruck - this just canโ€™t be JVR anymore. He has to be our main forward target. If this means Fullarton plays then so be it, as Iโ€™d rather him rucking than Petty. 2. Additional mid/small - these players are so important in the modern game and with ANB gone we need someone to step up. Will be between Sharp, Spargo, Billings and Laurie I think. Unless we get someone in the draft who fits the bill.
  20. We also moved up knowing there maybe be multiple options available to us. We obviously would be very happy to use that pick straight up, but also know some clubs may be desperate for a player and overpay.
  21. He would complement our current midfield perfectly.
  22. I think that it was allowed because they had two 2025 first round picks. Tbh I donโ€™t know why they put those restrictions. Clubs should be allowed to do what they want with all picks and wear the consequences if they get it wrong.
  23. Agreed. Wtf are the AFL doing with this. Everything is back to normal and has been for 2.5 - 3 years
