  1. I love the idea, would be great for the club. And would be even better if we could create a bit more of a rivalry with Sydney which at the moment is virtually non existent.
  2. Totally agree, I can't stand listening to him. I think he's a Troll and deliberately sets out to be controversial and over the top in his criticism of people within the game. He loved picking on Melbourne and Glen Bartlett last week for suggesting we should become the NY Yankees of Melbourne - people called in giving him stick and he just got louder and louder on the subject, suggesting how stupid it was. Not sure how someone gets to the position he is in when he can't see that you won't progress far in life without setting goals for yourself. Seems very one eyed. Can't wait till we're really moving up the ladder to see what his opinion is of us then.
  3. Makes for an even more interesting game on Sunday
  4. Melbourne FC: Lynden Dunn has signed a new three year deal, which will see him with the club until at least the end of 2017.
  5. Loved the game, so good to see a team of Demons stop the Tigers from getting their running game going - they exposed us a few times but we held them really well with our intensity. So good to see our midfielders work so hard to get first use of the footy and spread so beautifully - loved it. Our back line is killing it at the moment and we're reaping the rewards of them getting their hands on the ball.
  6. My first post so I hope it's a good one! Been reading you all for a long time and love the discussion and passion - I'm addicted. I thought we were pretty scrappy all day and were lucky to be close to them at the end of the game. I couldn't help thinking if only we'd had a player drop back loose to the goal square when the doggies had a ball up / boundary throw in inside their forward 50 we would have stopped 3 goals that went through along the ground out of a pack throughout the game. An absolute fundamental as far as defensive setup goes in my book - proven by Jobe Watson who did exactly that up in Brisbane this avo. Not a big deal to remove one player out of the 36 that are standing within the Doggies half for security. All the same I loved our endeavour and we're heading in the right direction so pretty happy. Go Dees.
