Crows wanted Gibbs, still might want him. Could do a three way deal with Carlton and Adelaide.
Crows get Gibbs
Dees get Lever
Blues get our pick 15
Perfect!!!

no, i don't "want" anyone delisted - i want them all to succeed.
but i'm cognizant of the fact that, at the moment, brayshaw is tracking no better than toumpas as a player.
i would love it if he could become a valuable contributor to the side, but at the moment is averaging less than 15 disposals a game at 68% efficiency across 33 games. it's not good enough, just as toumpas' average of less than 15 disposals a game at 74% efficiency across 35 games is similarly not good enough for a modern football be they a midfielder or a push-up half forward.
if brayshaw was what we had to give up to get a lever in, i'd do the deal in a heartbeat.
Dig up, not down! ;-)
c'mon man youre losing all credibility now. Brayshaw was third in the rising start in 2015 from memory, had a cracking year. he'll be back

will be a fascinating game. I expect a much better performance than last week, in fact I think we will play better against the better teams
I predict we will lose by 9 points with the line "we would have won this with Lewis and Hogan" being uttered many times

Its hilarious that Ross Lyon refuses to rebuild. lets bring in Bennell for 2 draft picks!
the game is changing in a way that is anti-Ross Lyon and Im not sure he can change styles. Hopefully Easter Sat is an enjoyable day for us

Have a look through the Geelong team. After dangerwood there is only a few good players. They are hanging on imo. North are rubbish and should have beat them at 30 pts up
Lets smash em.

That is really quite amazing. Didn't think we have the youngest team goin round. Good things will come. Imagine trac and Angus with 70 games. We expect of these lads

No idea about tim smith. Could someone fill me in? Form at Casey? Is he a rookie?

Imo best player in the league. Will get back to his best. Would love to get him. So strong, amazing mark. Driven, wants to win a flag

He's supposed to be a leader FFS
He is a leader. He did the same at the Hawks (as does hodge) and was a leader there and did alright
imo we would not have won without Lewis's aggression on Sunday

Injury List 4-4-17
Colin Garland (knee) – season
Michael Hibberd (Achilles) – 1-2 weeks
Liam Hulett (hip) – 1 week
Mitch King (knee) – 3 weeks
Pat McKenna (hamstring) – 6-8 weeks
Joel Smith (shoulder) – 3-4 months
Aaron vandenBerg (heel) – 6-8 week
seems to be getting better, we just need to get those that arent 'injured' match fit - Kent, Frost, Wagner etc.
-
worst is that Vanders is out until round 10 (at least)

When the Bulldogs lost players last year, they survived
We must do the same.
Put Spencer in the Forward line.
He will be hanging for a game
thanks for rubbing salt into the wounds!

Irrespective of your view of the MRP findings, I'm sick of so-called leaders of this football club continually getting themselves suspended for acts that are stupid and not at all at tough or brave.
Hopefully the club withholds payments of wages for games missed due to dumb acts. The players certainly aren't meeting their end of the deal when they are sitting in the stands. If either Vince or Lewis goes again this season, they should come back via Casey.
Has Nathan Jones ever been suspended? There are plenty of players who can play hard and tough, without crossing the line.
I agree on Hogan but I thought Lewis was trying to show the way through borderline legal aggression. I dont think we would have won without what Lewis did. He sparked the brawl and woke us up, he wouldnt have expected to connect like he did and cripps to be a [censored] about it
-
I thought was a joke when I read it! 3 for Lewis!?? not much vision but Ive looked closely, there is a forearm to the head. certainly low contact. cripps goes down and then is magically fine 30 seconds later.
I thought Hogan deserved a week as you cant deck someone off the ball but 2 is harsh
add in the varcoe and thompson ones and I just want to lose my SHITT!
-
Gus was poor today. Interesting to see how how Simon deals with it. Hopefully keeps him in.
Hogan out.
Bernie in
maybe kent for Hannan or Gus
maybe Wagner for harmes if we need a backman
-
Hogan was an off the ball soft punch in the jaw. Will be one week for sure
lewis not as clear cut. A chance to get off I'd reckon.
-
Turn off the umpires mikes
show decent replays after a goal and not just for 2 seconds before the next bounce
-
It's still not as funny as taking Martin over hogan

If not for the 10 goals from buddy and Reid that would have been an easy win for the dogs
Swans midfield is in poor form- when do you see Hannebery, jack and Kennedy be so ineffectual? They really need heeney back
-
It's funny how the best team gets seemingly a good run with the umpires. Was Hawks now dogs.
Maybe they just get to the ball first more often

BT is dead set the worst commentator of all time. Arrogant self important toss bag

Buddy is a freak. Great to watch
-
we will probably break even at clearances - (Oliver and Cripps will run into each other and the G will shake. Viney will give pretty boy Murphy some attention)
but once we start moving the ball from our back line and spreading the game, we will smash them on the outside (cannot believe I am writing this about the Dees)
aside from 4-5 players they are a rabble

Exactly. I'm the opposite of worried if they select all those talls. Nobody would ever have been worried if we'd picked a tall forward line of Watts, Fitzy and Paul Johnson (not sure they were all on the list at the same time but you get my drift).
I reckon the danger of them playing tall is way overstated. Hunt and co are going to have an absolute field day.
my personal favourite horrible forward line from the Dees was when Garland and Rivers were our 2 key forwards
