I wouldnt say a ducker that much but he certainly stages for high contact. he throws his head back prior to head high contact and i dont like it. he does it too obviously and will soon not be able to be awarded real free kicks I'm happy for him to encourage the umps to pay a free kick - I'd basically do anything for us to win a flag but he is doing too obviously at the moment

The Lions have a very strong midfield. If they get on top early it can hard to break them down. We need to fly out the gate and get on top early. They will come back but we should be able to control the game if sufficiently in front im pumped!!

I reckon Geelong would be internally seething at losing to us. They have many old players that need a rest and Duncan and Touey that are due back soonish. The pre finals bye would have been huge for them. That’s gone and now they have only a six day break and play away to Port. we are younger and in form. Port and Lions in form also so things are turning against the Cats. Cats are also 1-7 in their last 8 week one finals games. once they are gone, I will really start to believe we can do it

He should be considered strongly for the 23 each week. If Vanders/Sparrow are getting a game he cannot be far away. Experience counts in finals. Great to have him there if needed. Injuries/concussions/suspensions will happen as finals will be intense with nothing left on the table. if I had to guess, I'd say he will play another game I am 100% against picking him as the sub as a token move or out of 'respect'. he should earn what he gets.

Agreed the best part of Viney’s game aside from the usual aggression and smashing tackles was that he took the first simple option most of the time. Made a real difference to his game

Clarry’s second half of the year has been the best in the comp by a fair distance. However his first half wasn’t as good as Trac, Salem and Gawn will take a lot of votes early. I expect the Bont to leading by 6-8 at half way but I reckon Clarry can chase him down

😂 we did it! Gawn after the siren. First ever MFC win with a kick after the siren in 150 years. I’m in shock. Not going into the office today. I reckon I’ll stay home for a couple of weeks and watch the replay on a loop

The best player I have seen in red and blue in my 33 years following the club. Interesting that he has started taking great overhead marks again. Viney mentioned on the footy show that he is a great mark when he doesn’t have bung shoulders. So he could get even better! i have never seen a player drag the team over the line like he does. Watch his 2nd half from Sat night, just remarkable. Then watch him when he is singing the song at the end. Veins popping out - he wants this so bad and loves the boys and the club
