The main topic here is the arms out in frustration not umpire abuse. You should allowed to express frustration non verbally in the 1-2 seconds after a decision. the verbal abuse rule, I think everyone would agree is good. Umps should not have cop this

This is a [censored] disgrace and inexcusable completely agree we should not allow abuse directly at umpires, thus should not have not have been left to go on for so long however - raising your arms in disappointment/ frustration is not abuse and has nothing to do with this rule. I reckon Weideman played OK. brought the ball to ground a lot, competed hard and was involved in several scoring chains. He did this better than T Mac imo. Weed also had 2 contested mark to T Mac's zero. I reckon Brown and Weed could form an excellent partnership if given the time and support
