  1. The Weed kicked more goals last week In a tight game than T Mac has kicked in all 4 games. T Mac is in poor form and should be dropped. Weed didn’t play well last night but can impact games more as we saw last week
  2. These comments from the What they are saying Alburten thread sums up why it wasn’t a thrashing. Thanks WWSW. They had 50 more touches and 135 marks to our 73! I would be embarrassed to be a port supporter. at least try to win FFS was a dishonest performance, playing keepings off and trying to control the ball with slow sideways kicks in defence. It was purposely orchestrated to keep the margin close, and for the coaches to pat themselves on the back with a 5 goal loss to Melbourne.
  3. Technology is a bit behind in Adelaide they have a memo board outside the stadium 😂
  4. I though a Kozzi had a good game despite his limited touches. 6 tackles, 31 pressure acts. He had Port scrambling at the back leading to many turnovers his pressure and speed is so critical to our team I honestly worry how we’d go without him. *did give away too many frees though And needs to stop playing for frees also
  5. What’s all this - we could have won by 20 goals nonsense? They defended and put most behind the ball in the first half. We were rock solid with our defensive structure and they couldn’t get through. sure 60 point win would have been nicer but beating a two time prelim team away and at no point the game being in any danger is fine with me. Goody says we build from defence. % don’t matter when you are 20-2 come the end of the season!
  6. Well he has played 150 more games than Weed so you’d expect that. you hear key forwards talk and it takes years to learn this stuff I reckon Weed needs more experience and regular games to be a solid player. Maybe he’ll end up moving to get that
  7. Pubs in Richmond very quiet. Anyone at a pub with good atmosphere??
  8. CMON YOU MIGHTY DEMONS!!!
  9. The mega deal for Grundy worked so well why not again for Moore culture is [censored] at the pies. Need to pay overs to keep players. They dug their own grave with handling of Treloar
  10. Might be! I still think we’ll win. Guess I’m worries my Trac’s knee but not much point in me worrying!
  11. Sarcasm guys. someone said we’re not taking him there to rest him. But we have emergencies for the very reason of last minute issues coming up Trac’s knee could blow up off a 6 day break. No point pushing him for this game. Unless he is 100% right
  12. But we are taking emergencies. Wonder why that is?
  13. Wouldn’t be surprised to hear Trac a late out and Dunstan or Howes in
  14. Lions will crush the Cats, too much run and talent man I want the Cats to slide right off a cliff
  15. Agreed. I am tipping Giants, Freo are up and down. Tigers absolutely have a good chance and with Carlton limping over the line against the Hawks, GC have a good chance at home
  16. This will be over at quarter time. Port are finished. Ken will sacked by round 7 The Weed will do some wacking
  17. Lever and May being back together just makes me relax and generally feel good
  18. game tomorrow mate, so YES. 6:20
  19. I agree with LVDV, i don't reckon Hibberd is a tall. Smith can play on talls and smalls. but not a huge difference overall. Gus has been great in the backline so I wouldn't be in a rush to move him either May, Lever, Bowey Hunt, Smith, Rivers is a good mix imo and would give us more run than keeping tomoo in with them.
  20. Weed will probable have a quiet game with Brown back. Then we’ll see people saying he should be dropped. let’s give him a few weeks and see what he can do.
  21. AFL.com said Gray should be available by tomorrow. can he confirmed out?
  22. Good points but with Port's fwd line being smallish and no Dixon, I reckon May, Tommo, Lever and Smith is too tall
  23. Port have Gray and Clurey back but won't have Dixon or probably Durrsma Aliir Aliir Ankle 2-3 weeks Tom Clurey Knee Test Charlie Dixon Ankle TBC Xavier Duursma Neck Test Orazio Fantasia Knee 6-8 weeks Robbie Gray H&S Protocols TBC Sam Skinner Ankle Test Gray was close to returning from a knee injury last week only to enter the health and safety protocols and should be out in time for Thursday night's game to be considered for selection, although it's hardly ideal preparation for the veteran. Key defender Skinner was subbed out in the Showdown with an ankle sprain but has been cleared of serious injury and is expected to be available. Clurey has shot into calculations after a minor off-season knee surgery, while Duursma picked up a neck injury playing in the SANFL on the weekend. Spearhead Dixon suffered a setback in his return from ankle surgery and will miss an "extended period". – Ben Somerford
  24. IN - Lever, Ben Brown OUT - Tomlinson, McDonald the 22 is starting to shape up nicely!
