  1. no code required tomorrow. open to general public no way im sitting on level 4.
  2. Looks like from the MCG map that they have only opened up part of the MCG, the parts that will have a good view of the screens and stage. Hopefully when they see the amount of interest not only from members but from non members tomorrow they will open up more bays. if you are stuck with level 4, try again tomorrow
  3. what a crock. so 30K tickets sold already?
  4. Any idea when tickets are on sale??
  5. Agree the handling of AZ was a train wreck and I don’t blame an everyday person for being confused and concerned medical professionals have become ****scared of saying a vaccine is safe as they may end up in court
  6. I find this interesting also. Their was a article on a guy in the Age saying he was happy to have a Flu vaccine but not Covid. Really makes no sense to me. The Flu vaccine is different each year, new strains identified and added each year, it does not go through stringent clinical trials before release and yet people are OK with this but won't take the covid vaccine??
  7. Developing ruck/tall fwd is our number 1 need imo. hard to trade in these blokes. When Max is gone in a few years Jacko will be solo. depends if there are good prospects available then a winger/outside mid with skill then best available i reckon I suspect JT is playing games and we have our eye on a specific target which is why we traded up. hopefully he pulls off another young gun (so to speak!)
  8. We should get Wolfmother to play AC/DC songs at half time. failing that, the bugler can do a 20 minute MFC song 😂
  9. Do you mean like a hard copy?? didn’t know they still printed them
  10. Imma let you finish Goody
  11. Engagement parties are certainly overrated as well! It’s not the 80’s anymore 😂
  12. Sometimes it’s the big things that make the hole as well take my backside for example
  13. Clarry is signed until the end of ‘23. Hopefully we have a large chunk of money reserved for a 5 year deal for him
  14. If the bars and food outlets aren’t open I won’t be going that’s for sure
  15. oh right, thats good! With good weather I reckon we'd get more than 40K but who knows.
  16. Geelong came 2nd in 2010 with 17 wins. Still had a massive group of talented players
  17. Nice work mate. Got some talent
  18. https://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/1031651/celebrating-together-dees-confirm-premiership-event Celebrating together: Dees confirm premiership event
  19. man that's early, I was expecting a 3-6 type thing. only 40K attending. pity folks will have to miss out
  20. I don’t think the Tigers will even make the finals. They had an amazing 4 years and could have easily won all 4 flags if not for Mason Cox pulling that prelim out of his backside. Dynasty teams rarely recover after their 3-4 years at the pinnacle. Their best players are old, they can’t rely on their pressing game anymore as their defence is weak. They’re done
  21. No worries. This thread is about guessing/ predicting our fortunes in 2022, if you’re not up for that, that’s cool
  22. Yep important to have a Lever, Viney and guys like that. not to mention the motivation of hopefully winning one with Tomlinson, Hunt, Jordon etc in the 22
  23. What an unbelievable midfield! One flag certainly underperforming. Not sure how bucks screwed that up. Wanted to fix the culture. Lol. Look at them now
  24. Good reasoning. Although you mention it will be a challenge that there are many teams that can make the 8, I think conversely there are no great teams to challenge for the flag, like the Cats and Hawks/Swans of years gone by. The only part I would disagree with is your assessment of the Hawks, they had a very good team in 2008. They came 2nd on the ladder and won 17 games (same as us this year). They came 5th the year before so I don't think it was the surprise people say. Them underperforming the next 2 years was startling and almost got Clarko sacked. Perhaps the surprise in 2008 was that the Cats were that good in 2008 so they seemed unbeatable.
  25. A flag hangover in my mind is a team has had it's sights set on a single goal for years and then reaches it. Like the dogs on 2016, perhaps party too much and lose focus. It is completely natural to feel a massive release after achieving your goal. Everyone would then react differently to this - some would be spurred on even more, some feel a sense of satisfaction and maybe unconsciously ease off the intensity. Do you feel winning the flag will have a positive or negative impact on our season in 2022?
