How can I not understand the lack of respect and faith in our coach? Mainly because we have been in the top 4 every round for the past 2 years unlike any other team. i.e. he has been the most successful coach over the past 2 years. regarding team selection of key forwards, he has tried many options of Weid, Brown, M Brown, T Mac. Between injuries and lack of talent there is not much we can do. We could try a first year kid but I am sure we have our reasons for not throwing him in. You guys act like we have one of the King brothers playing at Casey!

I don't get everyone jumping at shadows with Trac It has been reported that the hairline fracture does not impact his play as pain is the only issue and can be managed. so this is no issue The only issue is the corky and if he is fine to play then play him. he has 7 days to recover for the Cats We are a real chance to lose to the Lions, their fwd line is playing better, they get 2-3 good players back and have confidence from last week. How will we feel if we leave out Trac and then lose? I agree if Trac was high risk to exacerbate an injury to leave him out but I dont believe this to be the case (happy to be corrected)

All the selection experts on here, maybe the club are more informed and there are actual reasons why JVR isn't playing. Such as fitness, ability to pressure. He has played some good footy for Casey but also had plenty of games where he was poor. Let the kid develop. We shouldn't rush him just coz it might excite the fans or brig more people to the game. We should play the best, fittest team that gives us the best chance of winning. Goody is clearly not afraid to play first year kids in big games such as Bowey, Kozzi, LJ, Rivers etc.
