First thoughts on ballbag Barrett's comments are slight anger, then I remember it is Barrett. That conniving rat will turn a whisper into a headline to get his name out there. He has no idea what Clark wants and if or where he'll be playing next year. Barrett should shut his mouth out of respect for Clark and his rehabilitation process. He retired to ease the pressure of a comeback and I doubt Barrett's conjecture would help.

The comment in question mentioned the Mardi Gras. There was no mention of the gay and lesbian Mardi Gras. I don't see why someone would take such offence about a remark regarding a festival that is celebrated prior to the fasting season of lent.

I like to think that I speak on behalf of the hetro community.Straight or gay, does anyone really care these days? I like a person for being a good decent person not who they're preference in gender is. HL is still a toss, he'd help us on field but I doubt he'd help the culture off the field.

What does not liking someone's name have to do with race?I know someone who named their children "Kevler" (after the body armour material) and "D'wayne" No racist undertones there, just really shitty names. I agree Heritier is a bad name, just like I dislike Sharon and Wayne. It's not a racist thing. I think the word you were looking for as well is overtones and not overtures unless of course you were referring to a "racist" orchestral piece played at the beginning of the opera.
