  1. Can you please direct me to my post where I said I don't believe in depression or mental illness?I'm simply just saying I'm not as naive as some with respect to Clark.
  2. But he didn't have cancer, sorry but I simply don't get the use of a hypothetical in an argument. Now you're going into suicide? I really don't get where you're going with this. I don't know why I have to think about your statistic, it has nothing to do with the argument. Do you know more people die each year from falling coconuts than shark attacks, think about that...

  4. Are you seriously that naive that you believe that rubbish?Your hypothetical is ridiculous. Apart from being offensive to cancer sufferers, it's just plain pointless. You can't ask a hypothetical in an attempt to prove your point.
  5. I take solace in knowing the truth will come out one day.
  6. I had a look through and couldn't find a link for the training photos. Any chance someone could post one? Thanks in advance. Ps, they're not for me, they're for my wife....I swear..
  7. We don't always agree Machsy but I completely agree with you on this one.
  8. What a complete load of whiny, pompous shite. They are getting payed to train and play AFL. "..few clubs provide legitimate opportunities for players to pursue other education or employment interests." - The club is paying you to play AFL, just as my employer is paying me to do a job. When I was 18 I joined the defence force, I didn't have a degree or any higher education at that time. I was away for up to 9 months a year and still managed to complete a degree. I'm sure Mr Ablett, while being cosy at home, could have helped himself with his own education. I can't believe a person who was fortunate enough to get payed to play a sport has the nerve to talk about sacrifices. Sacrifices come in many forms, being an AFL player is not one of them. "Most elite footballers, however, will not reach the heights theyd hoped for or attain the career they dreamed of. When their expectations are not met, life can quickly become lonely and disappointing." - At least they got a chance, how about those people who wanted to be a doctor, a pilot or an architect however couldn't afford the education or didn't get high enough grades? I'm sure he still enjoyed attending family and friends birthdays and Christmases. Give a thought for those who miss those things, year in year out. Those people who lost there lives fighting overseas. That's sacrifice, not getting payed to play AFL.
  9. So it turns out Gordon Gecko was correct.
  10. No, the sites are run by the AFL through Telstra.
  11. The club don't update or run the website. It's all done by the AFL.
  12. He's fat and unfit okay? Just let us have this one dammit!
  13. "Looks like he may be a player." No [censored], he plays AFL.
  14. Why will he? Being very average speed and having a light frame won't cut it.
  15. Hopefully he can concentrate on football and regain some form. Next year is crucial for him.
