Not funny. I heard an interview with Tom McDonald recently and he had a foot injury a couple of years so. And he understands what Petty is experiencing. It’s not only a physical recovery but also psychological. Petty will be worried that if he puts too much pressure on his foot that he will injure it again.So the more he plays and stays uninsured , the more his confidence will grow. I think that’s what Tommy said!

One more point.My son used to play for Ormond in the Firsts.And in Maxs early years with MFC he used to come and watch Ormond play.We sort of got to know each - say hello and stand near each other at the ground.He would always acknowledged me.But l never asked for his autograph or photo.Nobody else hassled him - he was just one of the supporters.
