  1. Becasue I still think we want to somehow get into the top 7/8 picks this year
  2. JVR's form warrants it, doesnt matter when it is
  3. I was a few seats behind the bench, noticed a few players looked really flat, Neal-Bullen, Brown looked zonked every time he came off, I wonder if others had been touched by a bit of illness, no excuses, some just seemed to be not their effervescent selves, And it mirrored in the crowd I think, I came back into the gate at the start of the second MCC side, heard a muted roar, thought Sydney had kicked a goal, but no Kozzie did, was really surprised such was the noise level. One more observation, from ground level, Sydney's spread from the stoppage was unbelievable, it literally looked like a haze of red and white when they got going.
  4. This could be a total in joke His brother is no doubt still mates with a lot of the Collingwood boys, so I'm sure their paths might cross a bit more than usual outside of football
  5. JVR has to play in the ones next week
  6. Indeed, Turner, Taj, Van Rooyen, Laurie when he settles on a position, very promising crop coming through
  7. Wherever he wants, one of the highest IQ footballers I've seen
  8. Which property have you taken out a second on BBO?
  9. How good was that footage of Josh Kennedy going of his rocker next to Longmire, apple doesn't fall far, just like his grandfather. I reckon we could do worse than entice him to the club after he retires
  10. While Smith wasn't a creator last week he went really hard at the contest and played his role as asked, hence his inclusion.
  11. He has to look after himself number one and his family/partner If he signs a long term ill be over the moon, but completely understand if he gets a far greater offer from somewhere else. To all the parents out there, what would you advise your kid to do (rose coloured glasses off)?
  12. There's probably an awareness that Jackson and Oliver are priorities Perhaps it's a question of what remains after that? I'd be staggered if there was no collateral from our success. And how long are players like Laurie and Rosman going to wait in the wings for?
  13. Was indeed. Personally I loved going to praccy games at old grounds like Arden St, Princes Park etc, going for a beer at the local before hand, really good stuff.
  14. Cheers, Looking forward immensely to Disney owning the exlusive right in 5 years time👍
  15. Hang on, so have Kayo embargoed the whole community series? Fox Footy not televising?
  16. Mee to Rab. Funnily Melbourne playing North at Arden St in a praccy was the last 'pre-covid' game I went to In Feb 2020.
  17. Optus Stadium will always be a home game for me. We get an extra two per year!
  18. Great one guys, can't wait to see who the super celebrity is!
  19. Apart from the obvious- talented list, great coaching staff, terrific form leading into the finals, I've been thinking about the list of luck coincidences if you like, that helped us lift the cup: - a great comeback against Geelong that guaranteed top spot, the kudos of a minor premiership, as well as minimal travel - three unexpected Footscray losses that made the above much easier - the intervention of Pert and Roffey to keep Goodwin entrenched as coach - an extra break before the Grand final that allowed May to play - the respectful way the Jones situation was handled, which could have had the potential to derail things Please add to the list!
  20. Great listen lads! Can't wait for the next installment!
  21. Haha that's going to be a long day/evening at Hotel Sorrento🙂
