So how who decides on delistings without the senior coach?

Have the end season exit interviews been done or are they waiting on the new coach to be appointed, how will this run as all the other teams not playing finals are been completed?

Will List mgt decisions only be made when a new coach is appointed? So how are the exit interviews handled?

Couldn’t see a topic on Mark Williams but confusing as he want be the development coach in 26 and the new CEO is taking of finding another role .. would you not have this done before announcing anything??? Media calling us rudderless etc

AFL draw is a joke! Cats have played 1 top 8 side in the last 8 weeks GWS and lost, whilst enjoying % boosters & inflating their ladder position, this needs to change as playing bottom teams who’s season is over, this needs to be fixed as other top 8 sides are not getting the same fixture running into the finals, in fact it may be harming the Cats as they are playing nobody before the finals

Loosing the same way since the 22 finals and the bombing continues going forward, how many games have we lost after leading? Our kicking skills have deteriorated in particular from our senior players, how many out of bounce by Langdon, Goodwin tried for 3 seasons to tweak & change the game plan but failed. We can only hope the new coach and assistants can change this.

Point is supporters & members are fed up watching us loose in the same manner for the last 3-4 years

Until supporters/members stop accepting these loses “ it was only 6 points “ we will never improve & it’s mediocrity.. Max said it in a post prob around 12 games we were in position to win and we don’t know how to win! Yeah effort was there that should be non negotiable and standard we have 15 or so premiership players, we are not in rebuild , we have exp 200 game players, enough is enough

Playing the same dumb bombing style which has haunted us for 3 seasons , cost us finals even possibly a flag! It’s as if it’s programmed in their heads, pies should say thanks to our dumb players! Hope the new coach can somehow reprogram their brains In particular our leaders who lead in the bombing

Not sure if you can read much into this but didn’t see a post by Trac on May 250 on his social media Insta, maybe clutching at nothing but I’d say May wouldn’t be he’s favourite… if either trac or Oliver want out just do it as we need committed players though they should take a pay cut and not burden the club!

No doubt the injury had affected him mentally but at his peak in 21-23 he seemed to be so much team oriented getting involved in around team mates , it just seems he’s taken a step back, weather from the injury or if he’s checked out?

What amazing effort well done Max, he’s legend status for both the MFC & AFL … considering he missed a lot of footy initially if he wins an 8 x AA it’s truly amazing

Appreciate the detailed response, I’m old fashioned but simply the theme of selfless in 21 & moving on from mistakes and player body language has vanished, what concerns me is the leaders are not living this and have become selfish, my point is just that if any players are not happy and if it’s the same ones on large contracts then they should request a trade and if need be take a pay cut to facilitate this!

New coach needs to seriously ask which players in particular big names who want to play for the Demons and be part of the solution & new era, or there is the door as enough is enough!

Leadership letting us down as usual after Chaplin praised their efforts last week, I guess hate to say it as I hate Cornes but his criticism is spot on

Even the saints found a way to win 2,3xtra games than us …

We played 1 qtr of great and the rest we were chasing, in all those close losses apart from the saints we also played 1 qtr of good footy No question on desire but this should be a non negotiable. Not sure what it is why we give up leads, is it leadership from our seniors to steady the ship? New coach will certainly have talented players to work with so not a rebuild and need to be will supported by a revamped footy dept & Chaplin needs to be given a senior role to drive the program with the new coach.

Saints technicality .. we blew a 46 point lead!

Though a loss we are all to familiar with, I’d say any coach would be excited on the mixture of senior and young talent, posts on moving Viney , Trac Salem are our leaders and heart /soul Viney … Trac in transition to pay fwd & are playing the young mids for their development.

Typical MFC style of loss, grab a lead and then roll over in the last qtr newcoach wil need to work out the metal toughness issues !
