Planet of the Apes - looks old now. Bullitt - looks really dated The Party -? Night of the Living dead - really dated Funny Girl - still funny but very 60's The Love Bug - 60's kids movie Rosemary's Baby - must re watch this. Then watch 2001 it is magnificent by comparison. A benchmark in cinema.

As for A Clockwork Orange it is a veritable orgy for the senses.

Now Choke, It strikes me that you find art galleries boring, and that is fine but many of Kubricks scenes are like works of art, they fill the screen with messages creating a sensory overload that could take years to comprehend. Unlike much of modern culture Kubrick doesn't take the time to explain everything we a seeing, he allows the viewer to fill in the gaps. The first time I watched 2001 I thought the second half of the movie was boring and disconnected. Many great artworks take time to be appreciated and will never appeal to all tastes. As for training shame about Viney.

Not only is the first half good it is jaw droppingly good. 2001 was made in 1968. It is visually stunning still today. You need to watch it again, I get more from it with each viewing.

Perhaps eclectic movie sicko? You can listen to a Kubrick movie, the soundtracks are awesome especially the later movies. Edit 2001 is pretty good too.

Sorry, I was on the Tubular Bells Mike Oldfield story line. I missed the Mike Oldfields Fibular as in deceit story line. When words fail, literally. PS:- I would deny that too.

Reminds me of a funny quote, "I went to a fight the other night and an ice hockey match broke out" I was obviously too grounded for Satyricon last night. I am a Kubrick fan myself.
