Yep agreed. I think we've definitely seen a seismic shift in player attitude with two key games this year: the loss to Essendon and the win against Hawthorn. I think both are defining matches for different reasons and were hopefully the catalyst for an MFC resurgence. It'll still take a few years of consecutive finals before I'm cured of MFCSS, but thankfully the playing group seem to have moved on already.

Yep, just compare their game against West Coast at Domain to ours. 132 - 29 was the final margin. Compare that to what we did against them (granted, it was a loss, but against all statistical odds). Overall we haven't been belted in any games this year except the Sydney match, and we're much less reliant on our senior players compared to Montagna, Riewoldt, etc. Exciting times ahead.

No issue with the mathematics but uncomfortable about posts discussing how tomorrow needs to be a big percentage booster. I've read these sentiments a few times this year and we didn't even walk away with 4 points. I just subscribe to Roosy's mindset that if we come with the right attitude tomorrow, the percentage will take care of itself. Is it bizarre to anyone else that St Kilda are currently above us on the ladder on 11 wins (likely 12 wins after next week) with a percentage 15% worse than us? Looking a bit closer at their fixture, they played the Bombers twice (15th last year but essentially 18th), Carlton twice (18th) and us at Etihad twice, practically 6 free wins.
