  1. List clogger and [censored]. Yuck.
  2. Will Hoskin Elliott for a future second rounder from Collingwood! Bargain for a former pick 4 (although we all know how former pick 4s don't always deliver...) And Aaron Black to Geelong for pick 95 seems like a bargain too. No idea what happened to him at North, he used to show flashes of promise!
  3. Must have been in the works for a while, we have a highlights package already: http://www.melbournefc.com.au/video/2016-10-20/pat-mckenna-a-demon
  4. Well, there's our pick upgrade! Out of the blue, this one?
  5. Well you mentioned our first pick being at 8, so I thought you meant to PSD. As far as hypothesizing the alternate universe where we still have our first rounder in the ND? I'd say no, too expensive.
  6. He won't last to 8 in the PSD, he won't even survive past Essendon. He'll nominate the ND to get to Hawthorn at 10 (but even then, would be funny if Gold Coast or GWS took him beforehand with their multitude of picks before Hawthorn).
  7. Thought we'd trade down our picks in the last few hours but nothing so far. Would think we can trade down a few spots with GWS or Gold Coast. Might be trying to get a pick upgrade for Dunn, then trade down after that.
  8. Ah Jeremy, must miss the good ol' days of beach Bintangs with best mate Bucks in Bali, promised his days in defence were over.
  9. Then they can draft another Ellis, Lennon, Vlastuin or Ellis! They really like their Elliss's'ss's!
  10. Smells to me like Brisbane are holding out for the Frawley-esque FA compo when they finish in the bottom 3 again.
  11. Let's be realistic here, 20 years...
  12. I'd say another 2-3 years of mediocrity for Richmond before they finally start their total rebuild, then another 3-4 years for them to build their list and let their kids reach maturity (at which point Prestia will be past his prime).
  13. He certainly has no regard for joining a team with sensible list management. But hey, he'll retire a rich man without any career success!
  14. Richmond are a fascinating case study in failing to learn from their mistakes and being doomed to repeat them.
  15. We'd never offer Prestia the money that Richmond has and it's why no other club has bothered interjecting in their stalemate with the Suns -- no other club will touch him at $750k. The only reason Richmond are paying such an outrageous contract for an above average midfielder is their cringe-worthy desperation to secure their "marquee" player this year, after members were baying for blood over Treloar's snub. A laughably run club, unless being run into the ground is their objective, I guess.
  16. I reckon Richmond's bottoming out will hit harder than Fremantle's in a year or two. What an utterly clueless, inept club with zero idea where their list is at. How glorious to see them implode without even realising it!
  17. Rumours swirling about Prestia trade. Wait for it: Pick 6 + Future 2nd Rounder for Prestia + 2016 Second Rounder (according to Emma Quayle). Go home Richmond, you're drunk.
  18. I laughed at that quote, because it seemed like some very deliberate wording of a specific timeframe.
  19. Quite amusing seeing journalists ask so many leading questions, bloodthirsty for a clickbait headline.
  20. Geez he's a great public speaker too. Leadership material all over him.
  21. Oh look, a buddy for Jeremy.
  22. On face value that deal is horrific for Port. Like others, can only assume they have something else cooking, because they've been quieter than us up to this point.
  23. Becoming very, very clear to me that Silvagni has no idea what he's doing. When you consider the amount of busts GWS had with their ludicrous first round concessions, it's mindboggling they've still leapfrogged into the top 4 (and an indictment on just how many concessions they've had).
  24. Ridiculous. Clarkson told him they wanted him to be used as trade bait for O'Meara! And they're hardly in any position to play hardball after giving away Mitchell for pick 88!
  25. Pick 66 on its own should be enough, frankly. I'd say that's what the hold up is; Hawthorn would be pushing for more than we're offering because they would've taken a third rounder and run had we offered it.
