  1. I'm less concerned about top 4 now. We had that chance and blew it. Far more concerned about finals itself, which that loss goes some way to helping. Besides, it's just so, so good to see Norf lose. Scott is a massive [censored].
  2. Would've been the perfect weekend if Richmond won and Sydney go on to win. Ah well, can't have it all! I note Collingwood are still yet to beat anyone good. Have they defeated anyone in the top 8??Of course, we'll hear nothing of that from the biased blowhards in the media.
  3. Yep, we're not out of the woods yet, but we only have ourselves to blame. We should never have dropped that game against St Kilda, which has put us under such great pressure. Winning 3 of our last 6 is so much more daunting than only needing 2.
  4. GWS have Port next week, then 3 gimmes in St Kilda, Carlton and Adelaide. I can't reiterate how much we needed Richmond to win that.
  5. Just the AFL's Rent-A-Crowd.
  6. Two [censored] points. Dammit! We really need the Tigers to win that.
  7. [censored] me, this club. This club. Called this pre-game, we would blow ANOTHER golden opportunity after the Hawks and Cats stuffed up. Turning off, this club does my head in.
  8. Yeah, good luck with that. You forget which team you follow? ?
  9. Don't worry, we rarely miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity. ?
  10. Exactly why we need to take our chances when they present themselves, especially on the oft-chance other teams drop big games. Otherwise this season is going to be a repeat of 2017.
  11. I've had a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach all week about today's match. Something about our attitude before that Saints game, and playing this on the G where we've been less than impressive all year. It's like teams have found out how to exploit our game plan there. Hopefully I'm wrong, because if we blow today then our finals chances are as good as cooked IMO. Too many other teams on the fringes with far easier runs home, like Hawthorn and North. And almost every time this year that other teams have blown key matches and opened up a golden opportunity for us to move ahead, we've consistently blown it. And lo and behold, this week it's Geelong and Hawthorn opening the door. The Dees rarely miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity and, once again, the stage is set. So, please, please prove me wrong Demons.
  12. Carlton should go after Malthouse!
  13. Just Channel 7's attempt at saving face for another godawful fixturing decision that's partly their fault. This fixture has been the butt of jokes all week long but you'd never know watching 7's coverage. They were probably instructed beforehand to be overwhelmingly positive about Carlton, to avoid a mass switchoff by viewers (as if anyone was tuning in in the first place).
  14. It's player takeover week, they've been doing it all week on all their shows.
  15. He can't help himself. Perpetual whinger.
  16. Phew, Crows win. Suck it Geelong you flogs.
  17. Bruce, just retire already. You're an embarrassment. Although he fits right in with the entire stable full of embarrassments at Channel 7's commentary team. Abysmal.
  18. Qualified at being a perpetually-outraged right-wing stooge, sure. Perfect fit for Carlton, now I think about it.
  19. Something seriously wrong with our team if we can smash this rabble a few months ago and can't even beat them today. Horrible.
  20. So now we can't even be flat track bullies. Get stuffed, Melbourne. Stop wasting my time and energy.
  21. When you actually look at the ten matches the Pies have won, you quickly realise they're really nothing special.
  22. What a delicious soft free kick that was to Patton. Who was it again that complained to the AFL CEO over coffee about forwards being unfairly manhandled without receiving free kicks?
  23. Gold Coast are [censored], even moreso without Lynch. Gonna be a few big percentage boosters for the lucky teams still to play them.
  24. Channel 7 just refused to show it, despite showing every other angle (including Beveridge's reaction for the last 45 seconds of the match). [censored] hopeless broadcaster. Everyone wants to see that [censored] Scott go from elation to misery!
