  1. BT lives in some kind of alternative universe where he thinks he's relevant. Maybe he can go make some more homophobic skits to really cement that irrelevance?
  2. According to Luke "Impartial" Darcy, we can look forward to him being the player that "improves with each and every game." Well he can't get any worse than 1 disposal and subbed off, can he!?!
  3. More likely their gameplan has just been found out, and teams have flooded the right areas of the ground to prevent their run.
  4. Still live in hope the Buddy deal backfires on Sydney, too. The Boyd deal makes that one look like a stroke of genius (which currently it appears to be -- we'll see where Buddy's at in 7 years and get a clearer idea).
  5. Not sure if anyone is watching the "blockbuster" tonight, but the Bulldogs are getting everything from the umps tonight. Feel horrible for the hapless Lions. Boyd is miles off the pace right now. Has kicked 3 goals tonight; 2 were from laughably soft free kicks, the other from standing in the goal square while his teammate won the hardball for him. He also nearly botched it when he fumbled it with his hands a metre from goal. Apparently he was disgusted at being subbed last week; he need only look in the mirror to see why.
  6. Especially when even the replay isn't conclusive. That stunk to the high heavens, especially when it prevented a set shot at goal for Port.
  7. Surely I'm not the only neutral who raised his eyebrows at some of that umpiring. 24-10 and 6 in a row to Carlton in the dying minutes, most of them highly dubious and all conveniently inside or near Port's F50. Hard not to be sceptical. Doesn't change the fact that Port stunk, but the umps blatantly got Carlton over the line by consistently interfering with every Port effort inside 50. Calling out Boak for a throw in a game filled with throws that go unnoticed, for example.
  8. In hindsight, does anyone lament the decision to rest him against the Hawks? (rhetorical question) This decision will, hopefully, reap similar benefits in the months to come.
  9. He was brilliant in defence against the Bulldogs though, but the opposition was less than stellar. We still, quite simply, have too many players with moments of brilliance and moments of incomprehensible stupidity.
  10. After the laughable discussion about the Tigers eyeing off top 4 after beating Freo, I was the only voice of dissent amongst my friends saying it was more likely a fluke. Lo and behold Freo nearly lost a week later to Gold Coast, and tonight's result reiterated that the Tigers' victory two weeks ago had far more to do with Fremantle hitting a slump than Richmond finding form.
  11. The North culture is definitely sooky. Always looking for blame, always putting in Oscar-worthy performances. All influenced by their diva of a coach.
  12. I wish! The closest interaction I've had with the Hulkster was having him hold open a door for me once. I'll truly hit the big time when we start discussing EPL matches at training.
  13. This will be a bloodbath unsuitable for children. The only solace is that Clark isn't playing to kick what would surely be at least 6 goals against us.
  14. Cotchin is such a soft captain, right up there with Swallow and Murphy.
  15. Has Hogan's instagram disappeared for anyone else?
  16. A top 3 followed by daylight, indeed. I wonder how many years before another team can cement themselves anywhere near it? Sydney will certainly never leave with their Academy gifting them the best players every year.
  17. I changed my tip to Richmond right before the bounce and almost instantly regretted it. That first quarter has been depressing viewing, indeed. At least the meltdown will be glorious if they lose; their skills are far from top 4 standard.
  18. I would guess the tunnel ball stunt basically sealed his fate. Roos doesn't quickly forgive things like that.
  19. As long as we don't start seeing replays of the failed merger.
  20. Gee whiz, I'm sick to death of this team winning.
  21. I definitely rate Freo, but my dad was spot on the money when he told me (back in round 4) they'd peaked far too early. They'll go through a real mid-season slog now, I reckon.
  22. I really want to see our red guernsey in a match!
  23. I tipped them, don't understand why the Tigers are such favourites. In form, sure, but still ahead of themselves. They beat Fremantle, granted, but look who came close to also beating the Dockers last week...
  24. Frawley blatantly holding the man there, would've been hilarious if the umpires weren't in the Hawks pocket and actually paid the free kick to Adelaide right in front of goal.
  25. Pretty awful defensive moment from the Hawks earlier (yes I know, glass houses...), allowing an easy goal-square goal to Adelaide that the Hawks defenders had ample opportunity to kill over the line, but didn't. Had a good chuckle when I realised it was Frawley lying on his a$$ on the ground, responsible for the mess. Otherwise, great game tonight, a real shootout!
