Well, the reigning premiers took Frawley. The problem with GWS is their picks are tied up with live Academy selections. They'll need to trade out players for more first rounders and trade us that. That said, if GWS can afford $700k in their salary cap for Howe, that's mindbogglingly poor list management. Although this is the club paying Scully $1M a year, so it fits with that logic.

Saints 6 wins and it's only halfway through the season. Don't forget they finished lower than us last year with only 4 wins. Bottomed out and working their way back up the ladder in no time. Richo is a brilliant coach.

Getting really nervous now, Hird may get sacked after this. Worst case scenario for us. I was happy to see them lose but the media spotlight on them will be gigantic now, and they have a habit of responding.

We never seem to win the ones we're expected to. I don't think I went into any of our wins this year feeling confident we'd get the 4 points, with the exception of the Tigers game. On paper we should annihilate Essendon next week but I'm really worried about A) the recovery from Darwin and B) the inevitable media heat the Bombers will face all week, which could spur them on to come out and destroy us next week. Anyway, they're the most beatable team we've had this year I reckon.

The most moronic part of the whole thing is that it took place AFTER the bye, and not before. If ever a game needed 2 weeks recovery, it's this. I'll be livid if we come out half-assed against the Drug Cheats next week. That's a game you just don't want to lose.

Literally the ONLY positive out of these games is the money we get from the NT. We suffer in almost every other way. We embarrass ourselves from a membership perspective, we lose the premiership points, and we end up fatiguing our players the week after and losing the next match to boot. Bloody moronic.

So are we just playing Howe to keep his currency up? Because seriously, he could not be more obviously out the door. Sick to death of these pea hearts playing for us that obviously have no intention of getting us off the bottom.

What a shame our last match didn't prove to be the "new dawn" of the club we all ignorantly hoped. Howe is nothing more than a passenger. One good game every five is hardly worth carrying. If we got a pick in the top 10 for him we'd be getting away with murder. If his manager is actually chasing $700k then he is literally on another planet. Howe isn't worth half that.

We are trying to build our membership, yet every game we play in the NT would send a shiver down your spine.

Can't believe how dumb we were to go with two rucks in these conditions. West Coast are the perfect team to go small against. ANB and JKH would be eating this up. Instead, one was sub and the other isn't playing. We are too tall, too slow, too cumbersome.
