I reckon Hogan's year off in 2014 was a blessing in disguise, and we're seeing the fruits of that this year. Sounds like we'll still have access to the 3rd/4th best midfielder if we take our pick to the draft. DeGoey, Lever and Cockatoo were right in line behind Brayshaw if we'd secured that extra first rounder, but history's history. I've got a special feeling about Trengove and our club's next chapter in 2016. There were plenty of second round steals last year, too. The team played like they had the flu -- from the sounds of it, half of them did. We showed lots of promise and there's plenty to be happy about. Unfortunately what kills us time and time again is the little mistakes, the turnovers, the fumbled marks, the decision making... we need a few more years to get that wrinkled out of our players (and yes, it means turning the list over even more).
