Probably wants a trade to Freo

The Chinese character for wisdom is a big ear over a small mouth - I'm sure Roos is a wise man and has the humility to listen and seek answers from many sources. He'll enjoy the challenge and that's why he needs to commit to more time.

I think that's what everybody has been saying

They can be next cabs off the rank

I don't believe a serial offender is an easy target. There has to be accountability

You're getting grumpy D31.Time for bed
-
I think we have missed Garland big time. Very creative off the backline
-
Not sure even having our key position players would make a difference if our runners can't hit a target. It was good to see Roos give Terlich a spray about his disposal - too often it goes unaddressed - at least in view of the fans
-
I'm not suggesting Spencer doesn't try but Mumford had 60 hitouts -2short of Dempseys record and not 1mark. On the clubs website he was touted as having a breakout year and ready to take over the no 1 ruck spot.
-
Would be good if he could occasionally take a mark or kick a goal

Tyson is the least of our worries. it's the turnover specialists that are killing us.

Commit to stay on for 3 - 5 years and undertake a radical restructure of the list.

The level of anger vented on this forum makes me think the club is at a tipping point and now is the time for some leadership. I know the president wants to remain in the background but I'm not sure this is an option at the moment. really believe the coaches and CEO we have are elite but the list is substandard. More change of senior coaches etc will only add to the problem so we need Jackson and Roos to fully buy in for as long as it takes. If not we may as we'll fold.

I spend far too much time, emotional energy and money on this rabble. Would prefer a merger with the Wycheproof demon. Half the current side would battle to get a game there.
-
It makes we wonder what karmic debt Dee supporters are repaying. Perhaps in past lives we were mass murders or even worse, Collingwood cheer squad members.

it's quite clear Terlich, M Jones, Bail, Spencer, Evans, Fitz, Byrnes and possibly Grimes and Trengove are not up to it and need to be replaced ASAP. Many others are marginal at best. Had a gut full.

Wonder how Chip made to the leadership group. There seems to be a disconnect between effort at training and on the field .Mind you, he's not alone.

Changes for next week...

Like to see Blease, Kent and/or Evans get a go. No future for Byrnes or Bail I believe so why play them. -
Roos sounding like Neeld (The Age)?
chook fowler replied to John Crow Batty's topic in Melbourne Demons
For once I agree with Caro. THe gratest boost for the players and fans would be for Roos and Jackson to commit long term. Hoppefully pride in getting a job done will see this happen. -
This post is going around in circles. Wines has had a great start but with a good start in a much better team. Toumpas is improving and still overcoming hip surgery last year. A lot more water needs to go under the bridge before conclusions can be drawn. in the meantime lets get off his back and support him as much as possible.

Roos sounding like Neeld (The Age)?

Here Here Ox. This is a no story dreamed up by a hack journo with nothing else to say. -
There were heaps worse than Toumpas yesterday. Leave him alone.

Roos sounding like Neeld (The Age)?

It all comes from Grant Thomas, an embittered failure who loves to troll and snipe other people. Get over it Grant -
The AFL do owe us. They get a fortune for broadcasting rights and it would do their image no good if one of their iconic sides would go under or vremain chronically non-competitive. Attendances are down so something needs to be done. I am sure under the current regime we would use the draft much more effectively. A pox on the house of Prendergast!

If Roos and Jackson cant resurrect this basket case of a club we may as well fold. Surely alarm bells are ringing at AFL headquarters. Disgrace we werent given a priority pick last year. I fear we may be Tassie bound.
