i find it extraordinary that the draft is so late in November. Surely by now all the background info is available. If it was 2 or 3 weeks later there would be more time for the newbies to have a full preseason.

Always sad to see players go, who did everything right only to not quite make it. They can certainly leave with their heads held high.
