  1. What I wouldn't give to have Neita in the team, even at CHB. My favourite player of all time
  2. Answering my own question. Hogan and Kent back next Monday http://m.afl.com.au/news/2017-01-05/jack-viney-back-on-track-as-melbourne-returns-for-2017
  3. http://www.foxsports.com.au/afl/the-players-who-will-be-most-affected-by-afl-banning-thirdman-up/news-story/4b990201f722bf6bbff949231c5d274e Here you go. 76% clearance rate with 2 ruckman, 75% with a Third Man Up
  4. Not sure if anyone saw AFL.com's MFC preseason report video. Ben Guthrie gave a good old whack to both Oliver and Pedders for coming back in poor shape, despite the fact that Cam was injured.
  5. He did joke on twitter that he was retiring, effective immediately ?
  6. Out priced himself in contract negotiations apparently
  7. I understand your preferences for a spread of goal kickers, but if Hogan only kicks a consistent 40-50 each year he is playing below his potential. He could and hopefully will be kicking 60+ per year, with better delivery and a more grougrounattacking game plan, even with him playing further up the ground
  8. Yep. Seems tough, quick and knows where the goals are. Obviously has leadership qualities, so hopefully he can work with Nev on that side of things.
  9. Simply for the fact Smith can get on the park, I'd take him before dawes
  10. Pretty sure we 'uncommitted' from Allsopp a few weeks ago. Check the Allsopp thread for more details
  11. Was nominated by the doggies as a cat b rookie. Wonder if we are just trolling them
  12. Not 'elite' fit you couldn't. These guys are already crazy fit, but need to get the 4 mths of preseason in to get that extra fitness to improve
  13. Worth a read of Bernie's comments , saying H wasn't at the club much last year so maybe he wasn't best 22. Also said we have the best medicos in the comp. http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/teams/melbourne/heritier-lumumba-set-to-retire-but-launch-legal-proceedings-against-melbourne/news-story/aa2cfc902a088f132c92500b6039ebd2?utm_content=SocialFlow&utm_campaign=EditorialSF&utm_source=HeraldSun&utm_medium=Twitter
  14. I like this, and not just due to the strong legal position it puts us in. That the club is an industry leader in this particular issue is something to really be proud of
  15. Have you seen the build of those steeple chasers? Make Cale Morton look like Mr Universe
  16. I saw on the MFC twitter an hour ago what looked like the start of a time trial. Does anyone have anymore info on this?
  17. I would rather NB than BLK. Just placed into receivership. Are the apparel sponsor of 6 clubs
  18. Asking the club to change from a white clash strip to a red and blue one is futile. They obviously don't perceive it to be a huge issue, and using the AFL excuse is easy for them. you are wasting your time. The real argument should be wound the mooted 2017 clash jumper. It's putrid. It is possible to have a visually acceptable jumper that has white in it.
  19. Clarrie caught over the limit during the break, according to the MFC website http://m.melbournefc.com.au/news/2016-11-15/club-statement-on-clayton-oliver
  20. I think, because the penalty happens before the draft, they go in with the second batch of picks.
