Just did a ladder predictor. I had us finishing 8th, after beating GWS and Adelaide. On autotip, we finished 6th. After the next two weeks, Collingwood don't have a great draw either.
-
At least the teams on the same points didn't blow anyone away. We still have a good percentage gap on most
-
He'll get 5 or 6, not 9. 9 will put him on the edge of being suspended out of the game, as he'll have 14 weeks worth of suspensions (or do they not do that in the AFL?)
-
I didn't think it deserved anything. He had already left the ground and wasn't that late. The 50 was too harsh, but the club will likely just accept this
-
We could be 7th at the end of the round. We should win the next 3 though
-
Think he set up JKH's goal, so yep
-
Don't forget, he is ex-GWS. We might get pick 1 from SOS if we throw in Buggy
-
I'm amazed he came back on. The footage of him on the ground either spitting or vomiting blood was shocking. It didn't look like 'bite your tongue' blood, it was seriously thick, dark blood.

30 frees against. 3 50s against, none for.

Demons Grand Plan for Yarra Park Training HQ
Mickey replied to Wiseblood's topic in Melbourne Demons
Thanks Wise. Saw the article but couldn't access. -
Given the supposed AFL sign off it's more likely any leak came from there
-
And this from The Age "He is understood to have beaten a field of internal candidates that included Demons football manager Josh Mahoney, chief financial officer David Chippindall and commercial operations manager George De Crespigny."

-
The article didn't say. Only said that we were close to announcing
-
More excited by that tidbit about announcing a new training and admin base!
-
Yep. I'd watch footy on any night of the week. Thursday's are almost like a surprise because I'm not expecting it. And every couple of hours I think 'Hey, there's footy on tonight!'
-
Having paid close attention to him in the ruck, too often he tried to so hard to win the tap that he couldn't recover in time when the ball hit the ground. He was never going to out reach cox or Grundy, and needed to play as an extra mid at the contest, which is hard to do when you are on the ground
-
The first line was a joke... clearly. The second questioned the move to use him as a tagger in the first place, not his effort. When you have a player like Gus, and Clarry also, who give you such drive from the middle and are in great touch, why use him in a negating role?
-
No he doesn't, both were in my fantasy and neither scored! But in the grand scheme of things, Gus in the middle has been responsible for our uptick in form over the last few weeks. Not sure why you'd move him out of there.

They will hit us with everything for the next half a quarter. If we continue as we are, we will be blown off the park. If we pick up, and are within a goal at 3 qtr time we are a chance
-
We look tired and slow. They could have 3 down and I'm not sure it'd help. Chasing tail for the last hour also doesn't help.
-
No chase, getting killed inside and out. Max getting smashed.
-
No late change according to the AFL Twitter feed

In which case, use umpires call and stick with the on field decision. If there isn't enough evidence to overturn it, then it should stay as is
