  1. The expected score is going to be ugly. But if we take the British view of the game, we won the moral victory! See you in the moral Prelim, ya losers

JVR's elbow has probably saved TMac. Bring Grundy in, play him 80% ruck and put Max forward. We're out of options.
  3. He won't get suspended for either. He's not missing a prelim for that

Jumping the gun a bit. Should be SF, not PF. TMac and Hibbo out. Grundy and Tommo in. Tommo isn't great, but we need to get the three talls down back
  5. Fritta and TMac looked like 2 guys who haven't played for months. And now we have to go the long way, without Gus or JVR.
  6. Hey Goody, it's the forward line, stupid. Don't [censored] hang your hat on dining out on bottom 8 teams. McDonald is a [censored] witches hat
  7. Still trying to work out how Collingwood went tall and are still too fast for us. Hibbo looks way too slow

    It's on the previous page
  9. Interesting. A number of them are [censored] themselves on Twitter. Even saw one saying it wasn't fair the finished top and had to play the best team in a QF
  10. Goody said in his press conference that it looks like Dunstan did his ACL too

Goody said in his press conference that it looks like an ACL. Also said Dunstan did his ACL in the VFL too

  13. Looks like an ACL for Melky

Definitely throw in our future 1st, maybe with a future 2nd or 3rd coming back. The problem is GC need points this year, and 400 points extra probably isn't enough for them to bite

Sure, but remind me of how old Trac and Viney are and who their replacements are going to be. I don't think North will trade the first pick. But they are stacked with young midfield talent, while we haven't taken a midfielder in the first round, let alone the top 10, since Clarry.

Given Nths list, they really don't need Reid; they are stacked for midifled talent. Trading 1 to us for multiple top picks could really fast track their rebuild, and they could still get Curtin plus other young guns, including a gun small forward in Watson

Yes, finished 7th with the loss to Brisbane

Jonathon Brown highlighted this a number of weeks ago, and the fact the NRL has outlawed hip drop tackles for this very reason. Given the dynamic way AFL is played, I don't see how they can do similar, which means these ankle injuries are here to stay
  19. Kynan is making his debut for Casey this weekend. Will be good to see him in action.
  20. The Crows are a good, young team and they always match up on us well. The problem for them is they still rely heavily on Tex. And he's not getting any younger. Thilthorpe might be good, but he's not that good. Gonna be a big hole to fill in 2-3 years
  21. He may not sneak an AA, but is well on his way to his second Bluey
  22. 4, 15 and 23 for WC's 1 and 19? Gives them an extra first rounder for bumping down a few spots at their first and second.

The thing that annoys me about Purple is that he has somehow gone from 'newsbreaker' to thinking anyone cares about his football analysis. He couldn't know less about the way footy is played, yet is still paid to offer up his nonsensical dribble, and his co hosts sit there and take it.
  24. Yes, it will all be about Brisbane winning at the G and breaking their hoodoo
