Looking like QLD wants teams to hub for at least a week in Sydney. I doubt they will change their minds. Decisions would need to be made very soon for some of these last remaining matches that currently don't have a venue.- COVID & AFL 2021
I guess it all depends on what the situation is in Victoria and the AFL footy landscape post QB. If we are destined for a couple weeks or a months or 2 of hubs then where is the best place to play QB? If we hub in QLD beyond QB would the Gabba be a better option than the SCG in terms of bums on seats and in turn $$$.- Where will we play the Lions?

This is why we will not be playing at the Gabba. St. Kilda struggling to get an exemption to play and then stay in Cairns for the next week. I would imagine QLD would be telling the AFL that they (Saints) can hub in Sydney for a week and then come to Cairns the following week. If they offered a FIFO to the Saints I'm sure the Saints would prefer to play in Sydney this week and then travel to Cairns the next week. To the Gabba guys would you prefer to play in Sydney this week with proper match day preparation or would you like a FIFO of the Gabba scenario? I doubt we will even be offered this from QLD but if on offer would you take it?- Where will we play the Lions?
I would hope that the playing group have that attitude. It's us scarred supporters that want to play every game in our own backyard against Dimboola Thirds.- Where will we play the Lions?
I'm coming around to this idea however I don't have the confidence that we can beat them there in front of a hostile home crowd. I think I'm just scarred from my Adelaide experience. I like the idea of recouping some of the losses from NT & QB by taking a 45,000 fan gate but I'm not convinced that giving the Dees/Neutral fans first dibs at tickets will lessen the hostile home crowd effect. A win in the belly of the beast would be a further stamp on our credentials though. I think this is all a moot point as I don't believe the QLD government will let us in without hubbing in Sydney for a week or two.- PODCAST: Rd 11 vs Western Bulldogs LIVE @ 8:30pm (31/5)

I have no inside information but from everything I've read it seems a call will be made today. If I was a betting man I'd put the farm on us playing them at Giants Stadium.- Where will we play the Lions?
These are extraordinary circumstances though. I wouldn't propose that measures like this be taken in a normal set of circumstances but we live in different times now. In any event if a team like North start selling games all over the country, on top of their sold games to Tasmania, they very may well have a mutiny amongst their supporter base and would certainly seal their relocation fate. If we have to start selling games interstate just to survive then the bells will be a tolling.- AFL Mid Season Draft 2021

Sorry about that. The LIVE aspect of the show is really secondary. It is a podcast after all.The reason I decided to do a podcast LIVE was to have the ability to get people to call in. This week Monday suited better because of the Friday game followed by another Friday game. I didn’t want too much time to have passed from the last game and too little time for people to listen before the next one.- COVID & AFL 2021

The AFL is clinging onto fading hope its Queen’s Birthday blockbuster could still be held at the MCG as it continues to deal with a worsening Covid-19 crisis in Victoria. Three Melbourne clubs — Collingwood, St Kilda and Melbourne — were still in travel limbo on Monday night as the league looks to embrace a fly-in, fly-out model in preference to extended interstate hubs. No games will be played in Victoria this weekend and the AFL has held off finalising its round 12 fixture until at least Tuesday. FINDING an alternative venue for the Melbourne-Brisbane Friday night match - possibly the SCG. The game was to be played in Alice Springs in a special Northern Territory deal worth $800,000 to the Demons. The round 13 clash is the only Victorian game scheduled for that weekend and the league is still hopeful the marquee MCG game can go ahead. But it would almost certainly be in an empty stadium or before a severely reduced crowd — a shattering blow given it is a signature day for Neale Daniher’s Freeze MND movement.- COVID & AFL 2021

Not ground related but ... No Grundy for QB. https://twitter.com/Stevo7AFL/status/1399223809366839296?s=20- Where will we play the Lions?
No chance QB goes ahead at the MCG let alone with any crowds. I imagine we'll be back on the road for at least a month if not for the rest of the year.- Free Kick Differential 2021
