  1. It probably was in the back but then so was the Viney one 30 seconds later.
  2. Thank you and welcome to Demonland!!
  3. The website always comes first.
  4. I'm willing to bet the house he is not the one selecting which footage to talk about.
  5. Would you believe it was autocorrected? I created the thread whilst walking from the G to Richmond station amongst a throng of people so accidents happen.
  6. #GetBeauOnDemonland
  7. Take a well earned break Demonlanders but before you do; who are you tipping this week?
  8. The Demons head into the Bye on 9 wins and 4 losses. Please post your questions and comments on the Demons season to date. We'll also be previewing the Demons upcoming match against the Cats so please post any questions or comments you have for that match. The Demonland Podcast will air LIVE on Monday, 19th May @ 8:30pm. Join Binman, George & I as we analyse the Demons Season so far. You questions and comments are a huge part of our podcast so please post anything you want to ask or say below and we'll give you a shout out on the show. If you would like to leave us a voicemail please call 03 9016 3666 and don't worry no body answers so you don't have to talk to a human. 9. Would probably prefer them to be playing against us by the sounds of it.
  10. Only if there is a thread on another board entitled What They Are Saying at Demonland.
  11. Soon. Probably in the next 10-15 minutes.
  12. Thank you. It was a long one.
  13. I did say that it would be Tuesday last week on the Podcast but earlier in this thread I mentioned that we realised that we had tickets to see comedian Michael McIntyre on Tuesday so the Podcast had to be moved to Wednesday. We bought the tickets months ago well before the footy season and being a Tuesday night it didn't register that I would be doing the podcast on a Tuesday after KB.
  14. Here comes the excuses from the media
  15. There is but it's not an accurate reflection of actual listeners. And then there are the bots that scour the internet and who know how many of those there are possibly inflating numbers.
  16. It's very difficult to gauge. You can see how many times the file is accessed but it's not a proper indication of how many listeners because the file might be automatically downloaded by the podcasting app but not listened to or someone might listen for the whole 1hr and 45mins (or over 2 hours possibly 3 tonight) or they might listen to 1 minute. We also have the live listeners and that can range between 30 to 100 on a particular night (usually somewhere in between) and people can be coming and going and who knows if they then download and listen to the show later. A good indication that listenership is growing is that we're getting more questions (and voicemails - 4 tonight) and engagement on social media. And 5 Star Reviews on Apple Podcast. So please leave us a 5 Star Review and a comment there. We love the feedback and it helps more listeners find the show.
  17. I love all the questions we get from the listeners but I'm cutting it off here for this week. My notes for this week are almost double what they usually are. We have a lot to get through and we're not even doing a Casey, Training, Changes (with the exception of Tommo/Smith/Petty talk) or Cats Preview. It will be a long show tonight so strap yourselves in. @binman will be doing a lap of honour to kick off the show apparently. 😜 Have a think about what questions you want answered or comments you want for our Mid Season Review podcast next week which will include Changes and Cats Preview. I'll probably post a thread tomorrow about it once I've spoken to the guys about the format.
  18. Just putting together my notes for tonights show and I reckon this is a great talking point for next week's Mid Season Review show. Do you mind reposting this in next week's thread?
  19. Good chance with all the questions we’re getting. Lucky we’re not doing a preview of the Cats game.
  20. Hey AF we're not previewing the Geelong game this week. We'll do it next week. We're going to talk minor team changes in so far as it relates to Tomo and Smith with Petty's return considering it somewhat relates to their performances in the Pies game. Please bring this up in next weeks thread as I'll likely forget.
  21. Melbourne went into the bye in a bit of a quandary having lost their third game in a row after its long winning run that straddled both sides of its drought-breaking premiership had come to an end. The Demons were second on the ladder having lost top spot to Brisbane who also had a 10-3 record along with Fremantle. They faced a match up against the Lions without skipper Max Gawn (ankle) and with key forward Tom McDonald looking at three months on the sidelines. Steven May was coming off a stint with injury and another week off after the application of a week’s club discipline suspension and his protagonist in that matter, Jake Melksham had missed the Queens Birthday clash with an injured hand. Some potentially damaging stories about events involving club personnel from 18 months beforehand were being circulated in the press and naysayers were predicting tough times ahead. Despite the negativity surrounding the club at the time, the Demons were able to regroup to win their next two games and regained top spot. Despite some ups and downs in the run home they finished the home and away season in second place before the combined weight of a number of niggling injuries saw them out of the finals in straight sets. This year, we’re a game behind the 2022 mark but are coming off a couple of tough but successful battles. Where do you feel we stand looking at the future from here?
