Ok. I like the adds. But theres a problem - theres an ommission, why are they not reliving any MFC memorable moments on the football field???

There is a man out there that provided more of those memorable moments then possibly any other in living history.

He must be found.

You know who i speak of.

I call for Sir Allen Jakovich to be the next recipitent of the Toyota memorable moments commercials. Find Him!

From his loving brotherly kiss on Glenn after kicking his 6th on the MCG in a Melbourne rout, to his antics of kicking opponents water bottles, (and hobbling off injured) as well as incredible as an incredible scissor kick for the greatest goal ever kicked by a footballer and all the other breathtaking moments this great man produced that are escaping me right now.

Find JAKOOOOOOOOOOOVICCCHK.

Get to it Toyota.

Great suggestion. Why don't you e-mail Toyota? Or how about Jacko and Kelvin Moore?

Saw the new add today and thought it was probably the poorest of the series so far. BTW that is the third Carltank "highlight". Maybe in 20 years time they can do one with Pratt handing Ju$$ a brown paper bag or Libba telling the carlton players to turn the ball over in the Kreuzer cup game.

Seriously they did an entire add about james hird doing a girly hand dance with a fan after kicking a goal...

well if they want to do a mark...there's the mark of all time..Shaun Smiths's..!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I remember last year an interview with glen on SEN and they asked about Allen and he lives in Sydney somewhere and does not want to know about football, So he might be hard to find, the big mark with jezza has been done so i don't think they will do another with shaun smith, it needs to be a big name player in a situation, besides there are a lot of other teams who also have not been done, if it was channel 9 they would have Lyon on the stretcher :P

I reckon they could make a pretty funny ad about of the Stynes running over the mark incident but it might require Jimma being a pretty good sport.

Yep, totally agree with Gouga, Stynes is the man to use in the commercial. Can always make reference to that stupid hat he wore in the game, remember because the "sun was in his eyes". CLASSIC.

Synzy was a charlie medalist, and consec games record holder. He deserves his own commercial.

Frank Adams and Des Healy collision was another famous incident but might cost too much insurance to reinact

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

From the start, Melbourne’s performance against the Gold Coast Suns at Peoples First Stadium was nothing short of a massive botch up and it came down in the first instance to poor preparation. Rather than adequately preparing the team for battle against an opponent potentially on the skids after suffering three consecutive losses, the Demons looking anything but sharp and ready to play in the opening minutes of the game. By way of contrast, the Suns demonstrated a clear sense of purpose and will to win. From the very first bounce of the ball they were back to where they left off earlier in the season in Round Three when the teams met at the MCG. They ran rings around the Demons and finished the game off with a dominant six goal final term. This time, they produced another dominant quarter to start the game, restricting Melbourne to a solitary point to lead by six goals at the first break, by which time, the game was all but over.

  • CASEY: Gold Coast

Coming off four consecutive victories and with a team filled with 17 AFL listed players, the Casey Demons took to their early morning encounter with the lowly Gold Coast Suns at People First Stadium with the swagger of a team that thought a win was inevitable. They were smashing it for the first twenty minutes of the game after Tom Fullarton booted the first two goals but they then descended into an abyss of frustrating poor form and lackadaisical effort that saw the swagger and the early arrogance disappear by quarter time when their lead was overtaken by a more intense and committed opponent. The Suns continued to apply the pressure in the second quarter and got out to a three goal lead in mid term before the Demons fought back. A late goal to the home side before the half time bell saw them ten points up at the break and another surge in the third quarter saw them comfortably up with a 23 point lead at the final break.

  • POSTGAME: Rd 16 vs Gold Coast

The Demons did not come to play from the opening bounce and let the Gold Coast kick the first 5 goals of the match. They then outscored the Suns for the next 3 quarters but it was too little too late and their season is now effectively over.
