Hello all,

i'm a film student and am currently in the process of producing a documentary based on the fanatics of the AFL, and i'm looking for people to interview.

So if you love the game or know of someone who is football obsessive, please drop me an email or post in this thread.

Thanks in advance.

Pates...I don't know his name, but we have a supporter with a huge mohawk [you can't miss him at the games]

I suggest he would be great content.

There is also a lawyer I know who makes Anti-Collingwood Football Club ties [ACFC]...its a black tie, at its centre is an upturned dead magpie with an MFC trident impaled into its belly. Let me know if thats of interest to you, of course I'd have to contact him first to see if he was OK about the project.

i'm pretty sure i saw the mohawk dude out at cranbourne, with no mohawk! well, no crazy red and blue spiked mohawk anyway

 Bugger...what do they call him now....SPUD?

do you know franky vergona...used to be a VFA umpire? legendary umpire with an amzing passion for the game...i doubt he would do an interview but would be great value

Yeah he was hanging around the fwd pocket. Overheard him saying that he was happy they got rid of Trav.

Thanks for the suggestion guys, he's certainly one that i'll try to talk to. I spoke to him briefly last year when we were come out of one of our close losses, he's certainly got passion for the club!

  • CASEY: Richmond

The match up of teams competing in our great Aussie game at its second highest level is a rarity for a work day Thursday morning but the blustery conditions that met the players at a windswept Casey Fields was something far more commonplace. They turned the opening stanza between the Casey Demons and a somewhat depleted Richmond VFL into a mess of fumbling unforced errors, spilt marks and wasted opportunities for both sides but they did set up a significant win for the home team which is exactly what transpired on this Anzac Day round opener. Casey opened up strong against the breeze with the first goal to Aidan Johnson, the Tigers quickly responded and the game degenerated into a defensive slog and the teams were level when the first siren sounded.

After five consecutive defeats, the Demons have now notched up back-to-back victories, comfortably accounting for the Tigers in the traditional ANZAC Eve clash. They surged to a commanding 44-point lead early in the final quarter before easing off the pedal, resting skipper Max Gawn and conceding the last four goals of the game to close out a solid 20-point win.
