Future, not finals, on Demons' agenda

Same old article in my opinion, nothing we haven't read in the last few days five times already!

Interesting...just softening the inevitable blow?

I'd prefer to put a positive spin on it. It confirms (to me at least) that we are heading in the right direction. The future looks bright under the new regime.

Yes. That is good spinning.

I didnt read into the article what you did. I think it says bunker down.

There is a Low pressure system on the way.

But the brightness you refer to may be a silver lining... I guess.

I think its a very good article, and reallys shows we have someone committed to developing youngster at this club, unlike the last 3 years.

I hate us losing, but if its giving game to younger players, then I am all for it.

I am confident, if fully fit, our midfield will upset quite a few sides this year.

Above all else if we can unearth 2 young key position players to 'come of age' it will be enormous for the Dees.

Goodonya! We mightn't entirely agree on the interpretation of the article, but we BOTH hope I'm right.

DITTO.

The footy dept' are now realists...This is great news, now I feel confidant the club can build a team to win finals instead of a team built just to make the finals.

  • PREVIEW: Brisbane

They really had me fooled when I picked them with great confidence to beat the Bombers at Gather Round last week. I should have recognised that nothing is more quintessentially Melbourne than defeating the undefeated early premiership favourite one week and losing to a winless cellar dweller on its way to establishing a record losing streak the next.
