Click on the link above and you will find that John Meesen has been a little bit stupid. I mean, who posts pornographic pictures on facebook when they are trying to get a new club (Melbourne) to take a punt on them. I hope this is just a one off thing and that he isn't an idiot. However, the comment at the bottom where he said he didn't realise facebook was public doesn't give me too much confidence. That said, I still want him at Melbourne next year because he is so cheap and obviously has some potential.

Ha Ha Ha

Get off your high horse you fool.

Imagine, a couple of young blokes having a laugh at 'pornographic pictures', shock horror!

Yeah, nothing out of the ordinary here, who cares

'a penis with arms'. lol

haha, wouldn't surprise me if it was from the movie "superbad"

The most notable thing about that is the politicians “outraged”. Anything for a vote. Yes it’s unfortunate that kids may have seen it but outrage?

if i'm right i think all they did was draw some naughty pictures on the graffiti wall on facebook... i doubt they posted actual pornography...

PC thuggery anybody? I hate it when people get in a tiz-woz about garbage like this. Who gives a toss? And if you can draw some sort of parallel between his posting a pornographic image and him getting a look in at a football club, I will bow down to you and swear my undying loyalty.

This made the newspaper?

The media just gets worse and worse....

The porno thing is classic. I would be more concerned that he uses facebook!

I reckon it's hilarious that the media are typing the whole "website that can be viewed by children" thing.

If 12yo's wanted to look at porn there's lots of sites that are much more easier to get access to than a person's facebook!

Thank god the media didn't get a hold of some of the old myspace pages that some of our players had.

Those were some interesting photos...

i mean who really gives a ****. meeson is still a good footy player and a good role model

i have seen john meesens myspace.. nothing worng wit it aswell

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Essendon

It’s Pink Lady night at Princes Park — a vibey Friday evening setting for a high-stakes clash between second-placed Melbourne and eleventh-placed Essendon. The wind-sheltered IKON Park, a favourite ground of the Demon players, promises flair, fire and a touch of pink. Melbourne has never lost a home-and-away game here, though the ghosts of two straight-sets finals exits in 2023 still linger.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 1 Steven May

The premiership defender has shown signs of wear and tear due to age, and his 2025 season was inconsistent, ending poorly with a suspension and a noticeable decline in performance. The Demons are eager to integrate younger players onto their list and have indicated that they may not be able to guarantee him senior games next season, in what would be the final year of his contract.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 2 Jacob van Rooyen

The young key tall failed to make progress during the season, with a decline in his goal kicking output. His secondary role as a backup ruckman, which may have hindered his ability to further develop his game, and he was also impacted by the team's poor forward connection. It will be interesting to observe his performance under a new coaching regime.
