Not quite what he said. He said he’s 4th for ‘centre bounce impact’, whatever that means… Wasn’t backed up by any stats. I find it hard to believe to be honest, Windsor has had just an ok start to the season

His "ball use" has been zero or negative for 3 weeks in a row which is very low even for a centre bounce player and definitely for someone who still gets the majority of his possessions uncontested.

The good news is he is getting the pill, sticking some tackles and high pressure acts. And he will win us a game very soon

Might have been talked about already but how did Laurie do in this game? I was happy he got a shot, when I did see him bob up he looked to be doing good things but I wasn't able to watch it closely as I had kids running around.

Still yet to watch the replay...can't wait though!

Here's an interesting exercise, post our win on Sunday

How many teams will struggle to get to 12 wins? (given that 12 wins should snag at least 10th spot)

So here are the teams I came up with that I couldn't guarantee would win 12 games

  • Tigers

  • Port

  • Pies

  • North

  • Bombers

  • Blues

  • Giants

  • Eagles

  • Crows

  • Saints

  • Demons

Hawks, Cats, Doggies, Lions, Swans, Suns & Freo should all win 12+ games

That leaves 3 spots up for grabs for the final 10

Giants, Crows and maybe us? 🤞

Lloyd, for a so called expert, has minimal insight. @binman and I commented on this last week. It's usually the last thing he saw or heard someone else say, becomes his great analytical piece for that moment. And his delivery, after 20+ years, is still amateurish. He wouldn't have put up with that from his midfielders when he played, yet we are subjected to it week in week out.

Lloyd used to cheat against us - he's said sorry to Alistair Big Jack Nicholson but Lloyd like The Great Hit Man Matthews - all words and no action behind his "sorry". "It was the way the game was played" what a lame excuse cos there were more players who didn't cheat than did.

Another Instagram post that has a couple of current Dees clicking the like button

After the game, Max gave insight into the game plan from King, where players are allowed to take any option available to them and won’t get chastised for it.

Even if the instruction is to slow the game down, players have reign to take it on if they see a better option and close the game

Now, if you wanna know how impressive this is, king has never worked under a coach before with these instructions implemented. This is a brand of football He developed himself and worked on to present to the board at his interview last year. He blew them away and part of the plan was to turn Koz into a full-time midfielder that can impact the game with his kicking rather than goals.

King wasn’t the favorite into the interviews, but he absolutely blew the board away with everything on and off the field

Young Kolt made a few errors but his composure in the last minute showed he is a keeper. Not sure what his role is but he bobs up everywhere.

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

Who would have imagined, when the season kicked off early last month, that Melbourne would emerge from the opening six weeks with wins over both Queensland powerhouses? At the time, Gold Coast and Brisbane were the competition’s early pace-setters, the flavours of the month, and the prospect of the Demons toppling both within the course of a fortnight seemed remote. Yet here they are, banking those scalps alongside home victories over two traditional Victorian rivals and building a quietly impressive resume.
