I would like higher expectations and growth for Kolt obviously but there is a role for that style of player in teams (and in a really good one like Jeeeelong)

Fritta was mature enough last year to respond the right way to getting dropped. If you're scared that dropping someone once will make them want to leave the club or spit the dummy, they're probably not the guy you want at your club.

If Rivers is made of the right stuff (and i believe he is), I'm sure he too will respond maturely to this call and in many respects it could play a part in helping him become the a-grader most of us think he is going to be.

I suspect the concentrated task and the reduced expectations of doing anything dramatic have helped Tholstrup a lot.

Wouldn't be the first young player to go through a period as a tagger on the way to becoming a more confident and complete player.

We are very much in need of the team-oriented half-forward successor to Nibbler, and Tholstrup has also shown he can be pretty bold and creative when he gets it. I'd hope that is the eventual ambition.

I don't know that there is, which is why many (most?) teams don't regularly use taggers. Sure, you can take an opposition mid out of the game, but good teams will have other players who step up. Not to mention, even tagged players can impact contest around the ball through positioning and the like.
