If you say it's about money, the Grand Final is a sellout every year regardless of who is playing.

Agree... the AFL would be happy but the Media rights holders wouldn't.

Not sure what impact it would have on hotels, hospitality etc.

It was telling that the GWS v Hawks game was not a sellout but at 20k it wasn't bad (capacity 23k)

On a happier note Freo almost sold out Perth stadium (57k against a ground record of 61k). Freo has a decent following it seems

We got 80k against Geelong in 2018. What a night!

More would watch Coll/Geel v Haw as opposed to GC v Bris. $$$


Storm play Bulldogs on Friday night for a spot in the NRL prelim final.

Unfortunately Storm have been hit with some key injuries. Tough game but win and they might go all the way. Lose and it will be tough despite their excellent season
