he gifted two goals to an overrated teenager in the first 5 mins, did okay after that, as a I said a few weeks ago sit them both out for the year and have them ready for next year also gives a chance to see turner, tmac and adams/petty- this combo has been 10x better and they look so much more settled than may and lever even tho most of them have barely played back and/or together they are the future of the back 6

sitting veterans out for the year for kids makes no sense. May was in the coaches votes. Lever was poor but is a leader coming back from injury

I would have thought these players have earned respect

Yep. Lever always takes a while to get going after he returns from injury. He’ll find his touch in the seniors like he always does, and everyone who’s had a crack in this thread will have to eat humble pie. Again. We’ve seen this movie before so many times.

Because of his pressure inside 50. A better option than Sharp or Laurie.

That doesn't say much Dr those two are not senior level players.

Sadly probably this.

No need to worry about the dunnies at Gosch's eh 😉

Yeah occasionally you’ll see a player darting over to the bushes when nature calls because the nearest bathroom is all the way over at AAMI. Last Tuesday the boys were on the oval early and there were no spectators at the time. As I rounded the tent I looked up from my phone and there’s young X taking a leak by the tree where I usually stand. It wasn’t awkward for either of us since he had his back to me but it’s rough that they don’t even have a basic necessity such as that.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.
