I have an idea. It's wild and dumb, but an idea nonetheless

I'm heading to Europe in exactly a month today. I have $4,000 spending at about $120 AUD per day. I want a little more, and still have a month to save, but I have this tingling feeling in my gut.

That tingling feeling is sending a message up to my brain.

That message is:

"$50 on Melbourne"

We'd have to be paying $6+ next week, won't we???

We are playing west coast this week.

they have to travel twice in two weeks. after a gutsy effort this week our price will not be as good as $6 plus.

i reakon they will offer 3.50 - 4 bucks

I know we are playing WC, but the fact that victorian sides have struggled there for years and the fact that we are second last and they are 1st, and at home, comes into consideration. I rekon anywhere $4.50-$6. I'm gonna jump straight on. Maybe $3.50 closer to gametime.

waste of $50 mate

wet toast wont lose 2 in a row, especially against us at home

and especially after losing to geelong, the odds will be hardly appealing

Exactly. Put it on Sylvia for first goal scorer. Gotta be at least $15?

Funny you say that....I was thinking exactly the same thing after today's match. $50 is keen....$15 is more down my alley at this stage.... ;)

just walk onto swanston street with a footy and bet someone $50 you can juggle a footy, soccer style, on your foot 5 times. much better

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
