We cannot expect our team to perform when the supporters arent either. Soon as the going gets tough our supporters disappear and start calling for Daniher's blood. Instead everyone should stop the finger pointing and get out and support the team. The lack of supporters in the game against Fremantle was a complete embarassment, it was only round 3 for goodness sakes and already everyone has run screaming in the opposite direction. Show some belief, odds on they will lose on Sunday so what, go and support them, scream, yell do what you have to do, just because their form is poor doesnt mean ours has to be as well.

Mate, I only travel to Melbourne to watch us play our fellow Victorian teams....

There is nothing better than staying here in Adelaide and going down to the pub in Alberton and drinking amongst the Port Adelaide filth! There is a certain adrenaline rush one gets when sitting amongst a bunch of dole-bludging, West End drinking Power supporters whilst wearing my beloved Red 'n Blue and enjoying an ice cold VB!!!

You can tell me I'm not a real suporter for not travelling, but I know the truth!! I pay my premium membership each and every year and travel to Melbourne when I'm not working but I can assure you that I will enjoy the match on Sunday regardless of whether we win or lose and I won't have to be at a silent MCG full of 25 Port supporters and a bunch of Melbourne fans with their hands under their bums to keep warm :)

....

Mate, i would think that most interstate supporters are excluded from this plea to Dees supporters.

Most of us would like to think that when the chips are down, the team looks to it's supporters for inspiration. If that IS the case than it's no wonder we lost to Freo. We need every able Melbourne supporter (bandwagon or not) to get down to the G this Sunday and help the boys get over the line. Neitz should be back this week and that will bring back half the leadership group of Melbourne, not to mention one of our best Full Forwards of all time.

I will be there, and i hope there'll be much more than 16,000 as well.

I personally would like to think that when the chips are down the team looks deep within themselves and drags out whatever passion they have for the colours they wear and plays like a bunch of blokes willing to give 110% everytime they step onto the ground (that goes for training as well as games)

If the Melbourne players are looking to their supporters for inspiration, then it is no wonder we haven't won a flag for over 40 years!!

Great to see you will be there supporting the boys through a tough time, but there will be no more than 19,000 there and 25% of them will be Port supporters.... So make sure you and the other Red 'n Blue Army folk make plenty of noise!

I am not being negative, just realistic :(

I wish i could come on sunday and support the boys- but as being an interstate supporter i cant go, even though i have a desire to visit melbourne. But i support the boys any time i can. Although i could not go to the game last saturday due to not being very well, i at least listened and watched the game on TV.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

Some veteran Demonland Trackwatchers ventured down to Gosch's Paddock to bring you the following observations from another Preseason Training Session. WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
