A HUGE disadvantage for The Dees not playing at the G with a crowd !

Featured Replies

So disappointed that the Dees have not had the benefit of playing with crowds at the G . As the season comes to it's climax without Covid our crowds would have been building . When finals start non Dee supporters would be jumping on our band wagon as we are the under dog with regard to Premiership success . Crowd support is a big advantage ! I saw Adelaide supporters help winย a GF against the Saints . Our supporters screaming at the umpires when we recently played the Dogs would have evened up the free kick count . 100k at the G with 80k supporting the Dees would give our players a huge boost and ensure the umpires are fair . Disappointed I may not be there to see the Dees win a flag that I have dreamt about for 61 years . I still will be ecstatic if they win one if I am there or not .

The Dee's have shown they can win without the crowd support and at venues where they are the minority like last week. ย If the finals are in Perth, it will be more people wanting to watch finals live and they may support the Dee's over the other side due to our history (Except against WC). ย Lets see how the next two weeks pan out.

No doubt youโ€™re disappointed we wonโ€™t be able to sing โ€œYouโ€™ll Never Walk Aloneโ€ as well

OK so not too many at the ground but hundreds of thousands watching from all over Australia (and the world, if they know how). Look out for the large retailers flogging huge tvโ€™s over the next few weeks: finals, spring carnival etc. Not too many at the ground unless itโ€™s in Perthย but still a very big audience with we hope a groundswell of support for Melbourne!

Given that the last time we played the crows....their fans influenced umps and one of them /$#@! His pants with a non decision.....yep its disappointing.
