He's as tough as they come. Never shirks contact. There have been a few occasions where I can see the contact coming and winch in fear of what might happen but Gus never backs out. 

He has found a role in the team and is playing it well. Great work Gus.

Kicking is still a bit iffy but agreed he’s settled into his role well.

Played really well last night, he’s an example of a player needing adjust his game based on the strength of the team he’s in. Could easily go to a weaker team and rack up 35 every week on the ball but is starting to turn into a very good wingman. 

 

Sticks was important last night, and I'm disappointed I couldn't slot him into the votes.

PS: The highlights video missed a fantastic smother by Angus on the outer wing down at Geelong in 2015.
