Yeah I dont get all the love for him on here.

Very strange,

Please yourselves. He was a good servant of the club and pulled on the jumper 165 times in difficult days when it wasn’t easy to front up week in, week out playing for a team that was getting flogged.

Since crossing over to the Pies, he’s had a lot of bad luck with injury and it would be an absolute tragedy if he didn’t get to 200 games (he has 2 to go). He struggled yesterday - he had a few mates - but with Mihocek and Reid going down, he might be lucky. I’ll be watching the game and cheering him on (but not his team).

He's not the only Collingwood player in that category. You've got to wonder about their player management and fitness team. For a club that seems to have endless financial resources (or should), have the list seems to spend half the season on the injury list and then they usually use this as an excuse for their performance.

Very strange,

I think 'the love' usually comes down to the circumstances under which a player left.

As Whispering Jack said, he stood tall during some very challenging years (under five different coaches), he was a Vice Captain of the club, he wasn't overly blessed with talent, but made the best of what he had most importantly in my book, he was moved on by the club, not because he wanted to go.

He, along with players like Watts and Trengove, will hold a special place in people in people's hearts because they loved the club and didn't want to leave.  The same affection isn't really afforded to Scully, Frawley, Howe, etc.

Not saying that you and everyone else needs to like Dunn, but I have a lot of time for him and wish him all the best.

    CONSISTENCY by The Oracle

"I think we have got a team that can win a premiership, and if we get in this year, I don't think there is a team that is going to want to play us. This year is not a write-off, I don't concede that. Not at all." — Collingwood President Jeff Browne. I love this sort of optimism from the Magpie President after his club’s eleven goal defeat at the hands of the fast rising Hawks. It’s consistent with the fighting spirit of the club that won last year’s flag.  I only wish I could say the s

    FEARS by Whispering Jack

Melbourne’s worst fears about the absence of Max Gawn were realised when it received a shellacking from Fremantle’s ruckmen Sean Darcy and Luke Jackson who dominated the hit out tally in their game at Optus Stadium on Sunday by a massive 47 to 19. As a result, the 50-point deficit at the end of the game proved to be a loss that was long foreseen that was two years in the making and demonstrated a complete lack of hindsight and planning from the club. To add insult to injury, Jackson was a D
