I never thought I'd say this, but i really looked forward to 10's coverage on the weekend after enduring two uninspiring Frday games from 7.

The calling of Tim Lane , and Huddo is now far superior to those on 7, and Cometti seems to have lost something here.

Importantly, Robert Walls and Michael Voss are class acts when it comes to special comments. They are killing 7 in this dept. Even Dermie's and Lyon's insights were worth the viewing in past seasons.

Malcolm Blight later in the year will also do well for them.

Don't get me started about 'The Doc".

Doc Larkins where are you?

Rick Olarenshaw? - is this the best 7 can do in this area.

How that $780M bid has bitten into the operating budget of one of the Broadcasters.

For what it's worth, 7's coverage has been less than average so far. The Ox said today on SEN that come Round 1 the wrinkles would be 'ironed out'. He's quite aware the telecast is ordinary but what we get seems to be at the mercy of the producer and a dumb wish to look better than 9 no matter how poor the result. Relax guys, you've got the rights for 5 years. In the meantime, 10 does it way better. Disinter Ron Casey.

Footy in the 60's 70's and 80's on 7. it was mighty. Lou Peter Landy Jack Edwards Mike Williamson Bluey Adams Ronald Dale Chimp Skilton. The Replay was fantastic.

Well 7 you are pale now-it's just sad..i know it's only practise matches but i can't see myself running home to switch on 7. They spent all there money buying the rights, it's obvious. Kerry Packers last dying wish was honoured-he knew he was going to lose the rights as 7 had the final call so he took down his opposition in the process. 5 years of tired old presentation here we come

The overhead shots are just too high- Bring 'em in about 30%

Channel 10 is fine

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. A couple of Demonland Trackwatchers braved the rain and headed down to Gosch's paddock to bring you their observations from the second day of Preseason training for the 1st to 4th Year players. DITCHA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I attended some of the training today. Richo spoke to me and said not to believe what is in the media, as we will good this year. Jefferson and Kentfield looked big and strong.  Petty was doing all the training. Adams looked like he was in rehab.  KE

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025.
