Fake news or about-face? Guess we’ll never know.

Yes you will, because Whateley was at the briefing.

Not everything is a conspiracy to make people hate footy.

The first post on the issue was on Wednesday night. Why three days later a fake news call is being made?

Surely Whateley (who is in the afl media) could have put an end to it sooner. Just another reason not to like him.

Oh well, look on the bright side... at least it would be one new rule that we wouldn't have to adjust our game plan to...

Maybe because the hysteria built up over that time?

After listening to Whately ‘s absolute Puff Piece interview with Gillian last week, i regard him as nothing more than a light weight Jeelong megaphone ?

Of course it’s not a conspiracy, it’s just gross incompetency.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

From the outset, the Casey Demons lacked any spring in their steps. They were out-hustled and out-bustled and finally outplayed by the Brisbane Lions by 38 points on their home turf in perfect conditions at Casey Fields.

  • PREVIEW: Brisbane

They really had me fooled when I picked them with great confidence to beat the Bombers at Gather Round last week. I should have recognised that nothing is more quintessentially Melbourne than defeating the undefeated early premiership favourite one week and losing to a winless cellar dweller on its way to establishing a record losing streak the next.
