It will copy and paste without the 'bullet points' (I hope!)

I will try and fix later Wadda ... scrolling back to page 14 would be a pain so I will find a way.

It's just a very handy tool without the outlay involved anyway.  Just knowing who is playing who is good to know.

The post below will copy & paste.  So,  at your leisure,  if it crosses your mind,  feel free to highlight,  copy & paste when we hit a new page.

We can add other leagues in different sports when they come about (NFL,  World Cups et al)

Here are the 3 specials ...

French Ligue 1 Monday at 07:00  St Etienne v PSG

PSG Win & Over 2.5 Match goals  $2.20

Italy (Serie A) Monday at 6.30am

$2.20 Napoli Win & +2.5 Goals Match Score vs Torino

Italia (Serie A) Tues 6.30am

$2.00 Roma win & +2.5 Goals Match Score Vs Bologna

With the help of odds booster/powerplay one should be able to get 10-1 or even 11-1.  And because the multi carries on until Tuesday,  cash-out becomes an option.

Good luck all!

Wow, when the ball doesn’t want to go in, it just doesn’t go in.

Ancient history as far as I'm concerned Wadda ... I get over a no result in a nanosecond and quickly move on.  Therefore I am not interested in the Naples video.  It is just how I am wired.

I never complain about umpiring decisions in footy nor do I play the blame game in horse racing ... in any given race I fully expect 4 or 5 horses  to get hampered for a run.  And a least 1 of those horses could be mine

Mulling over losses is a complete waste of time & energy.

As for winning ... now that is something worth talking about.  Your pick 《Roma) got up but the team multi lost ... and it is all about the team.

Yeah i guess thats right. The team is good. It just seems we are picking horses and sport but not all together, who ever gets the horse seems to miss the sport pick and vise vesa. But its good weve settled on a 3 pick strategy in both. We are overdue and the odds will favour us now, one would think. (hope)

No disrespect intended @Macca. I often watch highlights of all leagues in my spare time during the week as I enjoy the sport punt or no punt.

My reaction was to do with the content and the chances Napoli missed, that’s football though.

My pick was no good, I’m actually quite interested to see the stats/record of the top teams in their domestic leagues on the weekend following midweek Champions League/Europa League/Domestic cups. The schedule seems quite daunting sometimes.

I just never sweat the small stuff or at least I make every endeavour to not sweat the small stuff

And if I do,  make sure you let me know about it!

To me,  this is all just a few bets here and there and if I win or others win great ... if not,  no big deal.

I am not a bad loser or a sour loser but being reminded of a loss can annoy me.  Sonetimes I will put a bit extra on 1 of my choices so if that choice loses,  the last thing I want to do is explain the loss.  Prefer to move on quickly.

We are all different.

An example of my own version of 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind' (good movie) is that I have zero intention of ever watching the Prelim final from last year.  It has been eradicated and I made that decision at half time of that game.

Goodwin can and could use the game as a teaching tool though.  But as a supporter,  I am not interested.

Yep got to agree with you there. It just felt like the 2000 GF all over again. IT was painfully obvious after 15 mins we were not going to win.

To think they had Gaff and Nik Nat to come back in makes me think not much will change this year. They will take a power of beating both on the field and off. But bring it on. Go Dees.

It's how one responds to a loss ... that's all that really matters Wadda.   Whether playing,  as a spectator,  involved somehow or even when punting.

Soccer can be notoriously difficult sometimes as the scoreline often doesn't reflect the actual game.   For that reason I may switch to the NBA for my pick ... that was my immediate reaction when I saw the Napoli/Torino scoreline on Monday morning.

No chance of a nil-nil with the Warriors,  Celtics,  Rockets and a few others!  (esp with those teams at home)

Well i think its good if people select their preferred poison. I think DZ has the soccer on a string (not to mention the horses) and if you prefer the basketball, then perhaps thats a way to go. You can always swap back i guess. I prefer the afl margins because at least i know something about the game... I will be swapping to this come round 1.

The draw factor in the soccer is why you get the good odds though. Its always on the cards and part of the deal. They used to include the draw in the afl margins when it was U 39.5pts. They changed it to 1-39.

The good thing is with all the sports, we should be able to keep Monkey Business going all year.

NBA,  MLB with a bit of SuperRugby & Soccer are my preferred options Wadda.  Even International Rugby.  I'm no good at Footy or Rugby league.   Soccer is hit and miss but if Man City,  Juventus,  PSG or Barca offer up decent enough odds for a +2.5 Match Score,  I may go down that path.  Probably just those 4 teams though.  Dortmund at home maybe as a 5th option?  Ajax are another option but the odds for the Dutch giant are often quite prohibitive.

Finding 1 standout baseball winner out of the 15 games that are played daily shouldn't be too tricky either (season starts in early April)  Good teams on home field and a distinct pitching advantage are what I look for.  But I'm usually looking at 3 or 4 for a multi so finding 1 shouldn't be too difficult.

As you said,  there's enough there to keep the thread ticking over and it's a good thing to refine sports & teams too.  I like the idea of the multi involving multiple sports too ... my own multi's needs a mix too although I've done ok with 3pick NBA multi's of late.

I actually have a scarf of the Dutch giant here at home after attending 1 game at their home ground. You could fit 4 of their grounds inside the MCG! They beat PSV Eindhoven 4-0 that day, and there was much celebrating including random huggers screaming at me in Dutch.

Thats the thing about margins, they give you half a chance with some decent odds.

I reckon I have looked at Ajax at least a dozen times looking for half decent odds and the cupboard has been bare every time.

They were 1.02 to win on the weekend.  Not even Winx is ever that short Wadda!

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.

  • CASEY: Williamstown

The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day. Yze kicked his second on the quarter time siren, by which time the Demons were already in control. The youngster repeated the dose in the second term as the Seagulls were reduced to mere

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Collingwood

Narrm time isn’t a standard concept—it’s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.

  • AFLW REPORT: St. Kilda

The Dees demolished the Saints in a comprehensive 74-pointshellacking.  We filled our boots with percentage — now a whopping 520.7% — and sit atop the AFLW ladder. Melbourne’s game plan is on fire, and the competition is officially on notice.

  • REPORT: Collingwood

It was yet another disappointing outcome in a disappointing year, with Melbourne missing the finals for the second consecutive season. Indeed, it wasn’t even close, as the Demons' tally of seven wins was less than half the number required to rank among the top eight teams in the competition. When the dust of the game settled and supporters reflected on Melbourne's  six-point defeat at the hands of close game specialists Collingwood, Max Gawn's words about his team’s unfulfilled potential rang true … well, almost.
