Dubai Super Saturday on tonight ... some quality racing with live coverage on the racing channel from 9.30pm.  Usually a very good coverage

Found a form guide ... go to www.attheraces.com (if you're interested!)

I'm just doing a few same race multis for a bit of interest

An almost day for me fellas, Profondo was disappointing and looked beaten at the turn. Wanted at least a place as I took our 3 picks in a place multi also. Brooklyn Hustle came from the clouds and in real time I thought it got there, one more stride and the work punters club would have been a little wealthier.

Yonce is an up and coming star I think. Blistering win.

@Dee Zephyr @Gorgoroth

So what do we make of the 3 Group 1's?

Here's my 2 cents worth ...

  • Home Affairs on top in the Newmarket with 'Finance Tycoon' for the top 4 (for a bit of value)
  • Think it Over & Cascadian to fight out the finish in the Australian Cup
  • DZ has got Espiona to win the Coolmore and I'm all in as well! (Lighthouse to run well)
  • My betting strategy is same race multi's (following the class)

Home Affairs for me too Macca, star in the making I believe. One of the horses I was involved in several years ago was trained by R and L Price so I’d like to see the stable do well, will keep an eye out for their runner (Count De Rupee) at those odds.

Think It Over from Cascadian, She’s Ideel and Spanish Mission in no particular order for the latter 3.

Was speaking to a mate in Sydney today and he says the weather is on the improve. Banking on the track drying out by Saturday to hopefully see Espiona use that devastating turn of foot we saw here in the spring. I think the wet has been slightly against her the last two starts but has raced well regardless.

Coincidentally the mate I was speaking to has a horse in on Saturday at Gosford Race 3 No.15 Nominator $5 currently, one start for a third at Flemington back in September. 1st Emergency but they believe it will get a run.

I think the Astrologist will get a bonus bet slid over to it for a place. At its best  ot pushes the field.

September run is other one, great horse, been not in great form tho.

94k for the trifecta, 205k for the f4 fourth at $18 was the lowest. Crazy.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
