We've gone early again and the 3 in a treble is paying a whopping 120-1 (with a boost)

Even the early double is showing odds of 30-1

Good luck punters!

Heavy 10 in Sydney.

Saying 35mm last 24 hrs, 95mm expected in the next 24hrs, quite a few scratching already, can’t help but think it has to be abandoned.

Rallied well at the 100

Sheesh…don’t worry about putting a roof at the MCG, Randwick needs one today.

Well surprisingly we got through the full card in Sydney, must have taken a massive amount of work and tbh the races there were pretty decent.

Did you have anything on Sierra Sue yesterday?

And yes,  quite amazing how well the track played up North

We've got some great racing coming up in the next 2 months (and then we get the Brisbane & Adelaide carnivals) Bring it on!  Great time of the year with the Footy & League starting up as well

Still haven't seen any of the Group 1's from yesterday yet (!!) but here are the replays

As for I'm Thunderstruck's run in the Futurity ...  got held up so I'll give it another chance (All Star Mile next up by the looks of it)

Verry Elleegant is a champ, Marabi is a star (slick time) whilst Daumier looks a real horse of the future ... beat a couple of very handy types

Sure did, and I wasn’t surprised in the least, I enjoyed the run and gave a wry smile.

Very keen to see how Greece goes in the Reisling Stakes ( Randwick R2) on Saturday weather permitting. She’s the little sister of Loving Gaby and having her first start, purchased around 1.2mil at the sales. Has won both trials so far and bookies have now got her at $13  for the Golden Slipper.

Yeah Sydney is scheduled for more rain, but hopefully not so much that it gets called off.

Hard one picking the bet for the multi this week.

Best Bet Saturday

Flemington R8 No.2 Brooklyn Hustle (W) $8.00

Best bet

Flem race 7 No3 Profondo $4.6W

I’ve had a very ordinary day with some close finishes and I thought with Brooklyn my luck had turned… nope 😩

Well, the bonus bets are all on Gentleman Roy!

I've had a reasonable day again with 5 winners at each-way odds.  Got some same race multi's to finish

By the way, don't know who the tipsters are in Adelaide & Sydney (on Sportsbet) but they are both quite good.  The Melbourne tips are usually Gator's (on Sportsbet)

  • AFLW PREVIEW: West Coast

Epic battle alert.  This Sunday, Casey Fields hosts a coach’s showdown pitting the wits of the master Mick Stinear (92 games, 71.7% win rate) against his protégé Daisy Pearce (16 games, 43.8%). Still early in her coaching journey, Daisy’s record doesn’t yet reflect her impact — but she’s already the best-performed coach at West Coast.Dais’ is mythic.  Like Katniss Everdeen, everyone either wants to kiss her, kill her (sporting metaphor) or be her.  Toothers Daisy Pearce is a role model, someone admired for their heart, humility and humour.

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.
