Round 22 - Around the Grounds

Featured Replies

Lets not forget the major hip operations right before the draft. His highlights before this showed a player with good speed running and carrying the ball and kicking long goals on the run.

When he got to us he just looked so painstakingly slow and rushed and nothing like the player we saw.

i don't think there is only one factor at play here.

Im not a recruiter, but I'm going to go with because they are babies. Every year there are first round picks delisted. It's more a lotto than a science, I think.

I wonder if the hits would get bigger, and the misses smaller if the draft was raised to 20, but I guess we will never know.

True. Afl is quicker n everyone has a tank but Toump has lost a yard. In u18 he never had elite speed but he burst away and had time to deliver.

With the burst gone, Now he gets flustered and panics with less time.

No speed for an outside player is useless.

So they hosted 2 games at Etihad? That makes even less sense.

More Pies games @ Etihad = Fewer interstate games = Less Travel.

Eddie has his reasons.
