Took me 5 or 6 beers. Why are we both on here at 9.30 on a Saturday night anyway?

If you could see where I live, you would understand.

2 Pubs in town, and all of them come with a free front row seat to your own fight. Lucky my missus is an import, and cant stand going out here.

Rednecks and banjos.......

So, we make our own whisky, and make our own fun.

Pedo is not popular amongst the playing group, would be surprised if he is on the list next yr...

Real shame if that is true. I think he adds real value lately.

Are you serious? Sorry, were you watching?

You're usually ok, but this is complete rot.

He got dropped, so I'd assume the coaching dept agree with me.

Did you consider that he might have been dropped for other reasons?

Selfish and pulling out of contests? Complete nonsense.

Re-watch the match. Typical for him, too.

I've been calling for Harmes to get the chop too, I just wouldn't have switched him for Michie. A 90% Salem offers more IMO, but this might be a game we can get away with playing Michie and ANB.

I asuspect they are not playing Salem because he has had so little football. I have no doubt he will be in the top 22 next year. He is far too talented not to be.

Persobnally I think both Michie and ABN are list fillers at best. Serviceable, but will never be more than that.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
