The Demons' all time leading goal kicker David Neitz chats with Rex Hunt on SEN tomorrow morning from 7:30am on Rexy's Football Life programme.

If I'm up, I usually try to listen in an I find it entertaining - more so when the subject of the interview is a former Demon.

Actually, I think Rex has mellowed these days. The interviews are good and there's far less yibbita, yibbita ... that's all folks stuff.

Doing games for crocmedia he's still the same - and that's ok by me

Working at the Hawks now along with Yze & Bruce.

those three are greats of the neale era, is that why hawks have good kicking Adam had a laser kick, should be working with us, but if he did many posters would be criticising the club for hiring the boys club.

I'm happy hiring outside of the MFC circle. We've been starved of success. That's why Peter Jackson's so good. As is Roosy. They come from successful cultures, used to success.

there is a mindset to rid the demons of its past and change everything, but the best club in the land is full of ex demons, you hire the best and Adem and Trav Johnstone were one of the best kicks in the AFL of the last 20 years.

Doesn't mean they can teach kicking. I think the Demon blokes at Hawthorn are role players, except for Clarkson who is obviously an exceptional coach.

Well if Adem could not coach kicking he would not last the hawks

My point was more that he isn't necessarily an outstanding coach, but merely a role player that does his job well. The real magic happens at the top.

    UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

    Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024.     Demonland Trackwatchers ventured down to Gosch's Paddock for the final week of training for the 1st to 4th Years until they are joined by the rest of the senior squad for Preseason Training Camp in Mansfield next week. WAYNE RUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS No Ollie, Chin, Riv today, but Rick & Spargs turned up and McDonald was there in casual attire.     A couple of Demonland Trackwatchers braved the rain and headed down to Gosch's paddock to bring you their observations from the second day of Preseason training for the 1st to 4th Year players.
