Hi Dees,

Scotty here from bomberblitz.

Bit early with the thread this year but with rollo's retirement I am taking on most of the organizing this year and I want to get it spot on plus i'm sure you guys will wont to blow of some steam after the season you've had.

We were wondering if we could count you guys in for a game.

Date: 5/10

Venue: Gosch's Paddock or Olympic Park oval (Collingwood's training ground)

Vs: Full game vs Bomberblitz

So if rollo appointed a success just shoot me a PM and let me what you think and to also sign up over on blitz (or even just use rollos account) and have a chat to us on our forum footy thread.

Cheers,

Scotty

Who is our new Rollo again?

I assume there will be a full drug test prior to the game. ;)

Too soon?

Yep but if you want the test done before the game we will just get on the gear at half time.

Do we have to play Jack Watts and if so can we sub him out after 3 minutes?

Dear Scotty,

Any place, any time.

Bring it on and we will hand you your butts yet again.

Cannot understand why you guys keep coming back.

None of the other forums have dared to challenge us in the last 5 years or so.

I do have a demonlander who has agreed to take over.

I have been too busy at work to hand over to him.

I will suggest to him that I assist him this time and then he can take over with me to consult if he needs that.

(if I was him, I would consign the old man to goal umpiring to get him out of my space).

See you on game day.

Regards,

Rollo

Great to hear Rollo.

We are always up for the challenge and we always have fun even if you do beat us by 15 goals most games :)

Also wanted to let know that one of our guys has a friend who would like to play for you guys.

The blokes name is Brenton and I believe is a midfielder.

OK, people.

Forum footy survives on demonland. :o

Our new organiser is ucanchoose.

Dunno why anybody would take on this job, but credit to him.

I will be his assistant for this upcoming game.

And, subject to his approval, my creative goal-umpiring will continue into the future. :)

What do people think about the proposed date of Sunday, October 5 ??

Regards to all,

Rollo

Morning guys,

I have taken on the great responsibility of organised the forum footy for demonland

I bow out from the playing days with a three goal effort in the last win, that's enough for me

I'm off overseas next week for my brother's wedding so there might not be much action

You can email me: [email protected] or message 0449 821 556 to register your interest or stick your name on here.

Looking forward to this one, hopefully we gave another good turnout and get one up the drug cheats again!:lol:

I'm around from October onwards...

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
