    I have heard a lot of people who rated Salem as the second best midfield prospect behind Kelly so I reckon we could win this deal in a big way

    Our recruiters rated Salem as pick 3 before the draft and had him ahead of Kelly and behind only Boyd and Billings. Who knows which of the two will be better but we were happy with the result on draft night and I doubt anything has changed.

    Agreed, but the idea that the deal could be a win-win (Melbourne and GWS both get what they want) seems beyond some people's comprehension.

    Give him another preseason and some good players around....then watch out.

    I dont want to turn this into a Salem vs Kelly but Kelly does it regularly every game...
